180 degree pivotable and telescoping paint roller frame
The present invention relates to a paint roller frame for application of a fluid, such as a paint or stain, on any surface. The paint roller includes a head section that can accommodate roller covers or paint rollers of various sizes by adjusting a length of a top edge that adjusts the distance between connectors configured for holding the roller cover. The frame includes an adjustable swivel that enables a pivotal movement of a pole section relative to the head section. The pole section can be secured to the swivel which enables users to rotate the attached roller cover in a range of motion generally 90-degrees on either side of the perpendicular direction to the head section. The pole section can be telescoping and enables users to paint elevated areas, thereby obviating a ladder or stepstool.
Coating Applicator and Coating Application System
A coating applicator that applies a coating or liquid to a variety of different substrates having different contoured surfaces is disclosed, A coating applicator of the present disclosure is able to reach, contact, and cover the entirety of a contoured substrate. In this manner, the coating applicator is able to transfer a coating to the entirety of the contoured substrate. Additionally, fluid application systems of the present disclosure include systems for advantageously providing a fluid to a fluid applicator.
Fiber Structure For Paint Roller
A fiber structure 5 for a paint roller, which is wound around a roller core, having a ground weave 8; and a pile portion 9 standing from one side of the ground weave. The pile portion 9 includes covered yarn 10 that is formed by winding sheath yarns 12, 13 around a core thread 11, in order to enhance the stiffness of the pile portion 9.

Applicator for applying a coating material to a substrate
An exemplary coating applicator is provided for evenly applying a material having an aggregate to a substrate. The exemplary applicator provides for a generally even distribution of the material and the aggregate the coating material to the surface such as a wall or a floor where it is desirable to have a finished, textured surface and a material having an evenly distributed aggregate.
Pole-painting tool
A pole-painting tool includes a V-shaped handle having an apex that is encapsulated by a foam handgrip, and two free ends with a roller assembly removably mounted therebetween. The roller assembly includes an axle having a plurality of narrow, juxtaposed paint rollers mounted thereon. Accordingly, the rollers are submerged within a paint supply and placed against a pole, a pipe or another tubular object. By applying a directional force to the handgrip, a worker can conform the rollers around the tubular surface to more efficiently apply paint thereto.
Applicator and application method
There is provided an applicator that applies a coating liquid onto the upper surface of a web, and an application method which are capable of sufficiently enhancing the evenness of a coating surface. The applicator includes: a bar which rotates while coming into contact with the upper surface of the continuously travelling web via the coating liquid; and a barrier plate which is provided on an upstream side of the bar in a travelling direction of the web and allows the coating liquid to flow in a direction toward the web between the barrier plate and the bar, in which, when a distance between the barrier plate and an end edge portion of the bar, which is closest to the barrier plate, is referred to as A and a distance between the barrier plate and the web is referred to as B, A is 0.5 mm to 5 mm, B is 0.5 mm to 5 mm, and BA is satisfied.

Paint roller
Disclosed is a paint roller device comprising an inner hub and an outer hub spaced by a cage of wires and adapted for supporting a paint roll sleeve. A cylindrical retainer extends axially outwardly from the outer hub and is adapted to retain a ball therein, the cylindrical retainer being spaced radially inwardly from the periphery of the outer hub to define a gap between an inside surface of the paint roll sleeve when on the roller. The end of the paint roll sleeve on the paint roller device and an end of the retainer define a plane perpendicular to an axis of the roller, and at least a portion of the ball extends a predetermined distance axially outwardly from the plane. The gap between the sleeve and the cylindrical extension prevents paint from interfering with the ball.
