The disclosure provides a mask sheet and a pixel structure. The mask sheet includes a mask opening configured to manufacture a sub-pixel in a pixel opening of a display panel. An area of the mask opening is greater than an area of the pixel opening corresponding thereto. The pixel opening includes at least one curved edge with an inner concave surface, the mask opening includes at least one mask edge, and the at least one mask sheet is in one-to-one correspondence with the at least one curved edge. A curvature of each mask edge is less than a curvature of the curved edge corresponding thereto.

A conforming coating mask is used with a turbine component having a plurality of cooling holes. The conforming coating mask includes at least two anchors; a plurality of radial mask strips integrally formed with and extending between each of the at least two anchors; and at least one coating mask securing insert. Each at least one coating mask securing insert integrally formed with a respective at least one radial mask strip; wherein the plurality of radial mask strips align with and cover the plurality of cooling holes.

A protective mask for a part, the part including a plurality of openings in a surface thereof, is provided. The protective mask includes a mounting member at least partially within each of at least two of the plurality of openings. Each mounting member includes a water soluble material. A masking member couples the at least two mounting members. The masking member includes a non-water soluble material. Each mounting member includes a first plurality of integral layers of the water soluble material, and the masking member includes a second plurality of integral layers of the non-water soluble material. The protective mask can be made by a two material additive manufacturing system. A related method is also provided.

Controlled Warping of Shadow Mask Tooling for Improved Reliability and Miniturization via thin Film Deposition

A system and method includes pre-warping a mask to induce strain when affixed to a substrate and ensure positive contact between the mask and the substrate during all phases of deposition. A film is applied to the mask at a rate sufficient to impart stress to the film faster than such stress can be released. Depending on the features defined by the mask, the pre-warping may be concentric, linear along one axis, or complex along a plurality of axes.

A display panel and a mask plate for fabricating the display panel are provided. The mask plate is configured to fabricate the display panel, and includes a display region, provided with a number of first through holes arranged at intervals; and a transition display region, disposed at a periphery of the display region, and provided with a number of second through holes arranged at intervals. A density of the second through holes is smaller than a density of the first through holes. The present application further relates to a display panel. The display panel includes a display substrate and pixels arranged in an array on the display substrate. The pixels are fabricated from the mask plate as described above.

The present disclosure provides a mask tension frame and a mask tension process, where the mask tension frame includes a frame body and a supporting rib. The frame body is provided with a first surface, a second surface, and an opening. The first surface and the second surface are oppositely disposed, and the opening is recessed in the direction from the first surface toward the second surface. The supporting rib spans the opening of the frame body. A surface of the supporting rib for supporting the mask is higher than the first surface with respect to the second surface. When the mask is being tensed by the mask tension frame, at least a portion of the mask is supported by the supporting rib and at least a portion of the mask adjacent to an edge of the mask is supported by the first surface.

A mask device, a mask plate and frame are provided. The mask device includes a frame and a first mask plate. The frame includes an inner edge, an outer edge, and a plurality of mounting grooves. A first mask plate includes a substrate, at least one first mask opening on the substrate, and a plurality of clamping portions protruding and extending outward from at least part of a periphery of the substrate. The plurality of clamping portions are mounted in the plurality of mounting grooves, respectively, so that the substrate is mounted on the inner edge of the frame. A direction along which the clamping portion extends from the substrate to a direction away from the substrate is a first direction, a direction perpendicular to the first direction is a second direction.

MASK AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A mask includes a first mask that includes a first long side that extends in a first direction and a first short side that extends in a second direction that crosses the first direction and that includes a first edge portion, a first center portion, and a first welded portion, that are sequentially arranged in the first direction. The mask further includes a second mask that includes a second long side that extends in the first direction and a second short side that extends in the second direction and that includes a second welded portion, a second center portion, and a second edge portion, that are sequentially arranged in the first direction. The first welded portion is in contact with the second welded portion.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a main mask, a mating mask, and a mask assembly. The mask assembly includes a main mask having an evaporation area and a mating mask having a mating area. An effective evaporation area of the main mask corresponds to a display area of a display panel. A first mating area of the mating mask is provided with a first mating opening, and an orthographic projection of the first mating opening on the mating mask completely covers an orthographic projection of the effective evaporation opening on the mating mask. A second mating area of the mating mask shields an ineffective evaporation opening in an ineffective evaporation area of the main mask.

A shadow mask for patterned vapor deposition of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) material includes a ceramic membrane under tensile stress with a plurality of through-apertures forming an aperture array through which a vaporized deposition material can pass. A multilayer peripheral support is attached to a rear surface with a hollow portion beneath the aperture array. A compressively-stressed interlayer balances the tensile stress of the ceramic membrane. A shadow mask module with multiple shadow masks is also provided and includes a rigid carrier having plural windows with a shadow mask positioned in each window. To make the module, shadow mask blanks are affixed to each carrier window followed by etching of apertures and support layers. In this way extremely flat masks with precise aperture patterns are formed.
