Apparatus to make decorations on prefabricated water-proofing bitumen-mix membranes and corresponding plant for the production of said prefabricated water-proofing membranes
Apparatus to make decorations on a prefabricated water-proofing bitumen-mix membrane, wherein the decorations are made by depositing solid particles, in the form of flakes, grains, sand or grit, suitable to adhere to at least one surface of said prefabricated water-proofing bitumen-mix membrane. The apparatus includes at least one transfer member provided with a support surface suitable to receive, support and transfer the solid particles toward the surface to be enhanced of the prefabricated water-proofing bitumen-mix membrane. The support surface is provided with a plurality of cavities suitable to receive the solid particles. The cavities are made inside at least one surface portion of the support surface and the surface portion, essentially reproducing the shape and sizes of at least one of the decorations.

Orienting magnetically-orientable flakes
According to examples, a substrate may be moved through a magnetic field, in which the substrate includes a fluid carrier containing magnetically-orientable flakes. The magnetic field may influence the magnetically-orientable flakes to be respectively oriented in one of multiple orientations. In addition, during movement of the substrate through the magnetic field, radiation may be applied onto a plurality of selected portions of the fluid carrier through at least one opening in a mask to cure the fluid carrier at the plurality of selected portions and fix the magnetically-orientable flakes in the plurality of selected portions at the respective angular orientations as influenced by the magnetic field.
Method for Producing a Layered Structure in a Multi-Component Process
A method for producing a layered structure in a multi-component process includes the steps of: generating a basic substrate composed of a transparent plastic, in particular of polycarbonate, in a first manufacturing step, and coating the basic substrate with a transparent resin layer, in particular composed of polyurethane, in a second manufacturing step.
Film forming method
An object of the present invention is to provide a film forming method capable of improving a film forming speed in the film formation by an aerosol deposition. The object is achieved by aerosolizing a raw material liquid including a film forming material, supplying the generated aerosol to a base material vibrating at a frequency of 10 kHz or less, and forming a film including the film forming material on the base material.
MASK ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A manufacturing method of a mask assembly includes forming a cell mask including masking patterns and a mesh frame including conductive patterns disposed to correspond to the masking patters and disposing the cell mask and the mesh frame on a mask frame. The forming the cell mask and the mesh frame includes forming a polymer layer, a conductive layer, and a hard masking layer, forming a mask pattern layer including etch patterns, and forming the cell mask and the mesh frame using the mask pattern layer.
TAPE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A tape assembly for masking an object to be painted and method of use is provided. The tape assembly is defined by a tape body having an anterior side, a posterior side, a body first edge, and an opposing body second edge. The tape body includes a first portion including a first substrate having a first adhesive layer on a posterior side of the first substrate, a second portion including a second substrate having a second adhesive layer on an anterior side of the second substrate, and a third portion including a third substrate having a third adhesive layer on a posterior side of the third substrate. The first and third portions partially overlap with the second portion in opposing first and second overlapping regions, respectively.
REVERSIBLE CORNER SHIELD AND METHODS OF USE
A reversible corner shield apparatus and methods of use, v-shaped or angled shaped shield having a first linear shield member or wing and a second linear shield member or wing which are connected or joined at an apex therebetween, a mount or connector positioned proximate the apex between the first linear shield member or wing and a second linear shield member or wing, a hinged connector attached to the mount on a first end of the hinged connector and an elongated handle connected to a second end of the hinged connector to enable rotation between the handle and the shield and, thus, functions to assist a solo painter in rotating and positioning the shield around inner and outer corners of flooring, baseboard, door and window trim or ceiling to shield these non-painted surfaces from over-paint, over spray, uneven transition lines, unsightly paint dabs and the like.
Method of coating an object
Disclosed is a method of coating an object made of a first material and a second material that is different from the first material. The method includes dispensing a polymer solution onto the object, wherein the polymer solution has a property that wets one of the first material and the second material and dewets the other one of the first material and the second material.
