METHOD FOR SELECTIVE COATING APPLICATION
A method for selective paint application to a component includes applying a photoresist masking to the component and applying a template mask to the component on top of the photoresist masking. The method includes curing at least a portion of the photoresist masking on the component, removing an uncured portion of the photoresist masking from the component, and applying at least one layer of paint to the component. The method further includes removing the photoresist masking from the component.
Selective Deposition Of A Passivation Film On A Metal Surface
Methods of selectively depositing films on substrates are described. A passivation film is deposited on a metal surface before deposition of a dielectric material. Also described is exposing a substrate surface comprising a metal surface and a dielectric surface to a docking precursor to form a passivation film.
Method of coating display device side surface
A coating device includes an upper stage, a lower stage and a spraying part. The upper stage masks an upper surface of a display panel. The lower stage masks a lower surface of the display panel. The spraying part sprays ink to a side surface of the display panel. The side surface of the display panel is exposed between the upper stage and the lower stage. The coating device includes the upper stage and the lower stage, so that the coating device may form a coating layer of uniform thickness by precisely spraying ink. In addition, a cross-section of the coating layer may be precisely formed having specific shape such as an L or C shape. A display apparatus having high light usage efficiency and reduced light leakage may be provided by using the coating device.

Method of manufacturing deposition mask, intermediate product to which deposition mask is allocated, and deposition mask
A deposition mask in which deformation of long sides is restrained is manufactured. A manufacturing method of a deposition mask includes a step of preparing a metal plate; a processing step of processing the metal plate into an intermediate product comprising: a plurality of deposition mask portions each including a pair of long sides and a pair of short sides, and having a plurality of through-holes formed therein; and a support portion that surrounds the plurality of deposition mask portions, and is partially connected to the short sides of the plurality of deposition mask portions; and a separation step of separating the deposition mask portions from the support portion to obtain the deposition mask. In the intermediate product, the long sides of the deposition mask portions are not connected to the support portion.
Conforming coating mask for a component and system background
A conforming coating mask is used with a turbine component having a plurality of cooling holes. The conforming coating mask includes at least two anchors; a plurality of radial mask strips integrally formed with and extending between each of the at least two anchors; and at least one coating mask securing insert. Each at least one coating mask securing insert integrally formed with a respective at least one radial mask strip; wherein the plurality of radial mask strips align with and cover the plurality of cooling holes.

BLOCKING METHOD
A method of applying a blocking composition (116) on a substrate for an assay (20) comprises: providing a substrate for an assay (20), wherein the substrate for an assay comprises a solid substrate provided with a plurality of discrete spots of a biological material on a surface thereof; and spraying the blocking composition (116) onto the substrate (20) as particles or droplets having a diameter being less than the diameter of the printed spots of biological material.
Method of Manufacturing Golf Club Head With Polymer Coated Face
Methods of applying a polymeric coating to a rear face surface of golf club heads with variable face thickness are disclosed herein. The coating, which preferably comprises polyurea, improves the durability of the face and reduces the hits to failure ratio of the golf club head. The coating improves the performance of the golf club head because it allows for reduction in overall face thickness and easy post-process manipulation to allow for fine-tuning of mass properties after production. The reduction in thickness leads to overall weight reduction, because the polymer is roughly a quarter of the density of titanium or stainless steel, and also reinforces the face, thereby increasing the lifespan of the club.
