This invention relates generally to a nozzle, method thereof and a kit set for the same for spreading material on curved surface, in the field of repairing services for wind turbine blades and other similar composite components. More particularly, the present invention relates to a nozzle for spreading material on a leading edge of a wind turbine blade for guiding the material along the surface, generally, for repairing or upgrading. In addition it relates to a method and a kit for performing the application.
Method for the production of a connecting rod for an internal combustion engine
A method for producing a connecting rod for an internal combustion engine, having a small connecting rod eye for holding a piston pin and having a large connecting rod eye for holding a crank pin, wherein at least one connecting rod eye has at least one geometric deviation from a cylindrical inner contour. It is provided according to the invention that the at least one connecting rod eye is formed by creating a bore with a cylindrical inner contour, and coating the bore with a coating comprising a resin with solid lubricant particles embedded therein. The coating forms the at least one geometric deviation from the cylindrical inner contour of the at least one connecting rod eye.

Methods for sealing an internal composite vent stringer
A method of sealing an aircraft wing vent stringer may include placing a movable sealant sled in a vent stringer cavity of an aircraft wing. The sealant sled may include a sealant source configured to apply sealant to a wing portion within the vent stringer. The sealant sled may be transported through the cavity in a longitudinal direction defined by the wing, thereby applying a layer of sealant to the wing. In some cases, vent stringer may be abraded and/or washed before sealing. In some cases, two or more layers of sealant may be applied, one of which may be a secondary fuel barrier.

FLOOR COVERING WITH UNIVERSAL BACKING AND METHODS OF MAKING AND RECYCLING
A dimensionally stable universal floor covering includes a tufted textile having stitches and a reinforcement layer operatively connected to the stitches to provide dimensional stability for the entire floor covering. The reinforcement layer is made of fibers that are initially contained within a composition of adhesive and fibers. Mixing of the adhesive/fibers composition and/or injection of compressed air, assists in preparing the adhesive and fiber composition to be in the preferred condition and position prior to the forming of the reinforcement layer. Multiple sources of pressure, including vacuum, are applied in a controlled manner for moving the adhesive and fiber composition to form a reinforcement layer of fibers that is operatively connected to the stitches and/or to form a layer of fibers and adhesive that is contained within the stitches. The universal floor covering is selectively cut and transported in a roll for installation, and it can be conveniently recycled if necessary.
