METHOD MANUFACTURING FOR DECORATIVE CONSTRUCTION PLATE
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a decorative construction plate, the method including subjecting a metal siding material including: a metallic substrate on which a recess-projection pattern having a height difference of 0.5 mm or more is formed and on which an ink receiving layer formed from a resin composition is provided; a core material; and a back-side material, to flame treatment by exposing the metal siding material to flame with an output of 250 kJ/h to 12000 kJ/h per 10-mm width of a flame port of a burner so that the surface temperature of the substrate does not exceed 300? C., followed by performing inkjet printing using an active ray curable ink.
PRETREATMENT METHOD FOR COATING OR PRINTING
A method for treating a metal substrate surface before coating or printing thereof, the method including: preheating to 40 C. or above a specific metal substrate having a thermal conductivity of 10 W/mK or higher, and thereafter continuously performing a flame treatment on the substrate surface, prior to coating or printing of the surface of the substrate with a coating material or an ink.

METHOD OF INCREASING SURFACE ADHESION OF AN ARCHITECTURAL METAL FINISH
A method for modifying the surface of an architectural finish for a metal structure that increases its surface energy to almost double the surface energy obtained by the methods currently being performed, particularly in the curtain wall industry. Specifically, a flame plasma treatment process is applied to the surface of the finish in accordance with the disclosed principles to achieve the disclosed results.

Method for coating plastic substrates
Provided are methods for coating plastic substrates with an aqueous coating composition comprising at least one organic polymer as binder, the coating composition being applied to the surface of the plastic substrate and being subsequently cured, wherein the plastic substrate is pretreated before the coating composition is applied, the pretreatment comprising the two following separate steps in the order stated: (A) heat-treating a plastic substrate at an ambient temperature in the range from 60 C. to 160 C. for a period in the range from 1 minute to 20 minutes, (B) flaming the surface of the plastic substrate pretreated as per step (A), there being a period of up to 90 minutes between the ending of step (A) and the beginning of step (B). Additionally, provided are coated plastic substrates that have been coated by the methods of the invention.

Flame-applied resin powder coating for swimming pool and recreational surfaces
Application of a resin to a pool surface to provide a colored finish that is ultraviolet resistant. The resin may be a powder that can be melted at a fairly low temperature and applied to the pool surface. A first later of resin may be applied (thermally sprayed) to an epoxy layer that is applied to the pool surface after the epoxy has become tacky and before it has cured to provide better adhesion and cause the resin and the epoxy to blend into a single layer. An additional layer of resin may be applied after the epoxy and the first layer of resin fully cured. After the second layer of resin has cured an additional layer may be applied to provide designs and/or markings. The designs/markings may be produced with tape and/or stencils and the next layer may be applied to the non-covered areas to provide the desired look.
