METHOD FOR PREPARING A METALLIC SURFACE
A method for preparing a metallic surface of a device includes executing iterations of a first cleaning regimen and executing iterations of a second cleaning regimen. The first cleaning regimen includes applying a hydrocarbon solvent, e.g., an iso-octane solution, to the metallic surface of the device, executing a first sonication event on the device, and rinsing the metallic surface of the device. The second cleaning regimen includes applying a solution of chlorinated solvent to the metallic surface of the device, executing a second sonication event on the device, and rinsing the metallic surface of the device.
TWO-COAT SINGLE CURE POWDER COATING
Methods and systems for coating metal substrates are provided. The methods and systems include sequential application of low flow and high flow powder coatings followed by a single heating step to provide a cured coating. The methods and systems include a marker that allows coating uniformity to be monitored and assessed during application. The described methods provide coatings with optimal surface smoothness and edge coverage.

PRODUCTION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLYING FAUX WOOD GRAIN FINISH ON MATERIAL
A method and apparatus for applying a faux wood grain finish to plastic architectural plastic boards. The method employs a climate-controlled area for denibbing of boards to prepare a surface and a sprayer to achieve a desired depth of color. A wiper spreads the sprayed on material to form a faux grain finish which may include faux wood knots. The boards are directed through a combination infrared and convection oven having independent curing zones providing specific drying profiles. Once cured, the boards are cooled with forced air cool down fans and transferred into a climate-controlled area for applying a topcoat. The topcoat board is passed through an oven set to a defined temperature for curing and cooled down with forced air cool down fans before packaging and shipping.
Method for producing a structure on a surface
A method for manufacturing a structure on a surface of a workpiece (1) is disclosed, the method having the following steps: applying a liquid base layer (2) onto the surface of the workpiece (1); spraying on at least one droplet (3) into the not yet congealed base layer (2), wherein the at least one droplet (3) at least partially, preferably completely, penetrates into the base layer (2); fixing the base layer (2); and at least partially removing the at least one droplet (3). Further, a second method having the following steps is disclosed: spraying on at least one droplet (3) onto the surface of the workpiece (1); applying a liquid base layer (2) onto the surface of the workpiece (1), wherein the base layer (2) flows around the at least one droplet (3) and preferably at least partially covers the at least one droplet (3); fixing the base layer (2); at least partially removing the at least one droplet (3). Finally, a device for performing the methods is disclosed.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING REAL ALUMINUM USING ALUMINUM ALLOY CAPABLE OF BEING APPLIED TO COIL-TO-UNCOIL PROCESS, AND VEHICLE INTERIOR PART
A method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy sheet may include melting aluminum alloy composition containing silicon (Si), iron (Fe), copper (Cu) and manganese (Mn) in weight% on the basis of remainder of aluminum (Al) to make cast alloy having a constant initial thickness; rolling the cast alloy to allow the initial thickness to be reduced, whereby the cast alloy is elongated to aluminum alloy sheet; and performing heat treatment on the aluminum alloy sheet.

ELECTRONIC COMPONENT MANUFACTURING METHOD
A pre-press process includes a first step for bonding a first end portion of each of a plurality of electronic component bodies to a bonding surface of a flat plate material disposed in a jig, a second step for moving the jig relative to a surface plate, a third step for bringing a second end portions of each of the plurality of electronic component bodies into contact with the surface plate while the flat plate material is in a softened state so that the flat plate material is deformed to align respective positions of end surfaces of the second end portions, a fourth step for curing the flat plate material, and then a fifth step for moving the jig relative to the surface plate to separate from the surface plate the plurality of electronic component bodies in which the respective positions of the end surfaces are aligned.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TREATING WOOD
A system and method for treating wood material is provided. The method comprising: applying heat to the wood thereby charring the surface of the wood; applying pressure to the wood with a press having a pattern, thereby forming a charred surface with a pattern; cooling the wood with water or other coolant; letting the wood dry; brushing the charred surface of the wood; and applying a sealant to the surface of the wood. The system comprising a heating system for charring the surface of the wood, a mechanical press for forming a pattern on the charred surface, and a cooling system for cooling the wood. The system and method used to produce decorative wood pieces with a charred surface and a pattern pressed into it.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE, SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING DEVICE, AND SYSTEM
In a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device, the method includes: applying a liquid material containing an ionic liquid on a substrate to form a protective film; transferring at an atmosphere the substrate on which the protective film is formed; and removing the protective film from the substrate that has been transferred at the atmosphere.
