DECORATIVE OBJECT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DECORATIVE OBJECT
There are provided a decorative object and a manufacturing method thereof, which includes: an object to be decorated; a printed layer covering at least a part of a surface of the object to be decorated; and a color clear layer covering the printed layer. In accordance with changes in a transmission distance by which light is transmitted through the color clear layer, a slight change in appearances of the decorative object can be caused.
Zirconium nitride powder and method for producing same
A zirconium nitride powder having a volume resistivity of 107 Ω.Math.cm or more in the state of the pressurized powder body hardened at a pressure of 5 MPa, and a particle size distribution D90 of 10 μm or less when ultrasonically dispersed for 5 minutes in a state of being diluted with water or an alcohol having a carbon number of which is in a range of 2 to 5. Also, the zirconium nitride powder is dispersed in an acrylic monomer or an epoxy monomer to prepare a monomer dispersion. Further, the zirconium nitride powder is dispersed in a dispersing medium as a black pigment and further a resin is mixed to prepare a black composition.
Multilayer coating film forming method
Provided is a method for forming a multilayer coating film including the following steps (1) to (4): (1) applying a base paint (X) to a substrate to form a base coating film; (2) applying a specific effect pigment dispersion (Y) to the base coating film formed in step (1) to form an effect coating film with a specific dry film thickness; (3) applying a clear paint (Z) to the effect coating film formed in step (2) to form a clear coating film; and (4) heating the uncured base coating film, the uncured effect coating film, and the uncured clear coating film formed in steps (1) to (3) to simultaneously cure these three coating films.
Method for producing coated metallic substrates and coated metallic substrates
The present disclosure relates to coated non-metallic substrates and coated metallic substrates, and methods for producing such coated substrates. A variant of the method is characterized in that a mat or glossy coating is underneath a metallic layer obtained in some cases by way of vapor deposition and/or sputtering. In another variant, the metallic is sufficiently thin so that it remains transparent or translucent to visible light. The coated substrates may include multiple layers such as metallic layers, polysiloxane layers, a color layer, a conversion layer, a primer layer, and/or a transparent or colored layer. An application system for applying a metallic layer to at least one surface of a substrate may include a plasma generator and/or a corona system for treating one or more layers by plasma treatment and/or corona treatment.
DECORATIVE FOIL, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DECORATIVE FOIL AND METHOD FOR DECORATING A TARGET SUBSTRATE
A decorative foil, a method for producing a decorative foil as well as a method for decorating a target substrate. The decorative foil, in particular laminating foil, cold stamping foil or hot stamping foil, includes a carrier film (42) and an all-over varnish layer (41), wherein the carrier film (42) has a thickness in the range of from 3.0 μm to 10.0 μm.

METHOD FOR FORMING MULTILAYER COATING FILM
A method for forming a multilayer coating film, comprising sequentially applying a first colored paint (X), a second colored paint (Y), and a clear paint (Z) to a substrate, and heating the three layers of the obtained multilayer coating film separately or simultaneously to cure these layers. The first colored coating film has a lightness L* within the range of 30 to 60, the second colored coating film has a light transmittance at a wavelength of 400 nm or more and 700 nm or less within the range of 15% or more and less than 30%, and |h(X)−h(S)|, which is a difference between a hue angle h in the L*C*h color space diagram of the first colored coating film (h(X)) and a hue angle h in the L*C*h color space diagram of the multilayer coating film (h(S)), is within the range of 0 to 30.

METHOD FOR FORMING PARTING LINE
Provided is a method for forming a parting line when an easily peelable coating material is used as a coating material, The present disclosure is a method for forming a patting line in a coating using an easily peelable coating material. The method includes: (i) attaching a masking tape to a part not to be coated on a boundary between a part to be coated and the part not to be coated along the boundary, here, the masking tape including a lower masking tape constituent layer and an upper masking tape constituent layer; (ii) applying an easily peelable coating material over the part to be coated and a part in contact with the boundary of the masking tape; (iii) peeling off the upper masking tape constituent layer; hardening the easily peelable coating material; and (v) peeling off the lower masking tape constituent layer.
