Polyester film and preperation method thereof
A polyester-based film having excellent scratch resistance, durability, transparency, and visibility and a process for preparing the same. The polyester-based film comprises a base layer and a coating layer on at least one side of the base layer. The light passage according to Relationship 1 is 91% or more, or the total transmittance for light of 380 nm to 780 nm is 92% or more, it has excellent optical properties, durability, visibility, and reliability. Thus, it can be applied to display devices such as smartphones, tablet PCs, and laptops. In addition, in the polyester-based film according to an embodiment, the strain with respect to tensile load satisfies a specific range, whereby it is possible to achieve the flexibility that hardly causes deformation even when a certain load is maintained for a long period of time. Thus, it can be applied to flexible display devices, particularly, foldable display devices.
OPTICAL COATING HAVING A LOW REFRACTIVE INDEX
Described herein is a coating composition including a polymer containing hydroxy groups, such as a water soluble polyvinyl alcohol, and further including a tetraalkoxysilane and modified silica nanoparticles having a positively charged surface, where the coating composition shows advantageous properties such as low refractive index, good transparency and low haze.

GLUE APPLICATION ROLLER FOR USE IN A GLUING ASSEMBLY EQUIPPED WITH AT LEAST ONE SCOOPING ROLLER
A glue application roller for use in a gluing assembly equipped with at least one scooping roller includes a glue roller body that is provided with a central hole to receive a drive shaft. The glue roller body has at least two parts including a base and an outer ring. The base is operatively connected to the drive shaft by a non-positive fit. The outer ring is configured with at least one cavity. The base and the outer ring are coupled to each other non-positively via at least one first means. On at least one side of the glue roller body, there are second means that ensure that compressed air and/or another gaseous or liquid medium is fed into or discharged from the cavity so as to effectuate a change in a circumferential contour of the cavity.
Hot melt adhesive application method and hot melt adhesive application device
In front view of the application nozzle, all of the pressurized air flow K and adhesive flow H are made to run parallel to each other in the vertical direction. Of the pressurized air flows K from the pressurized air hole b in the pressurized air plate, the two that are located on one side of the adhesive hole opening a and from a pair in the front-to-back direction are tilted so as to approach each other. The extension lines thereof are located on the side of the adhesive bead, which results from the adhesive flow discharged from the adhesive hole opening, and have directions that converge. The respective pressurized air flows on the two side of the adhesive bead are made to flow downward while uniting in the direction of convergence. A web in which the adhesive bead is elongated while being swung in the transverse direction is formed and, near the bottom surface of the application nozzle, a non-interference space Q is formed between the adhesive bead and the fore pressurized air flow. The adhesive bead, resulting from the adhesive flow discharged from the adhesive hole opening, and the pressurized air flows do not interfere with each other and walls R of pressurized air flows are formed below the non-interference space Q and on either side of the adhesive bead.
