Protective coating systems for gas turbine engine applications
A protective coating system includes a substrate that has an exterior surface exhibiting a degree of valley/hill surface irregularity including a plurality of hills and a plurality of valleys and a first coating layer formed directly on to the exterior surface of the substrate and that conforms to the exterior surface of the substrate such that the first coating layer has a non-uniform coating thickness over the substrate. The protective coating system further includes a second coating layer formed directly on to the exterior surface of the first coating layer. The second coating layer includes a plurality of pores within the second coating layer. Still further, the protective coating system includes a third coating layer formed within at least some of the plurality of pores within the second coating layer.

POLYESTER FILM AND PREPERATION METHOD THEREOF
A polyester-based film having excellent scratch resistance, durability, transparency, and visibility and a process for preparing the same. The polyester-based film comprises a base layer and a coating layer on at least one side of the base layer. The light passage according to Relationship 1 is 91% or more, or the total transmittance for light of 380 nm to 780 nm is 92% or more, it has excellent optical properties, durability, visibility, and reliability. Thus, it can be applied to display devices such as smartphones, tablet PCs, and laptops. In addition, in the polyester-based film according to an embodiment, the strain with respect to tensile load satisfies a specific range, whereby it is possible to achieve the flexibility that hardly causes deformation even when a certain load is maintained for a long period of time. Thus, it can be applied to flexible display devices, particularly, foldable display devices.
Method of manufacturing dew formation preventing member and refrigerator and evaporator having dew formation preventing member
A method of manufacturing a dew formation preventing member having a super water repellent surface of the present invention comprises the steps of: mixing a particular paint and polytetrafluorethylene at a predetermined ratio; particulate painting the mixed paint on a substrate surface; and heat treating the particulate painted substrate. A method of manufacturing a dew formation preventing member having a super water repellent surface according to another aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: immersing a substrate in an electro deposition paint, and applying a direct current to conduct electro deposition painting; heat treating the substrate that has undergone the electro deposition painting; and plasma treating the surface of the substrate that has undergone the electro deposition painting.

The primer is prepared from starting materials including a) an organoboron compound capable of forming a free radical generating species, and at least one of b) an organosilicon compound having, per molecule, at least one free radical reactive group and at least one other reactive group, and/or c) an organoborane liberating compound capable of reacting with starting material a) to liberate the free radical generating species. The method for forming the primer may further include use of d) an organic solvent, and e) a free radical polymerizable monomer, oligomer, macromonomer, or polymer.
Multiple-nozzle defined edge tool
Systems apply a material (e.g., adhesive) to an article (e.g., a component in an article of footwear) with a multiple-nozzle tool. A first nozzle of the multiple-nozzle tool is effective to provide an edge application of the material that is consistent in application of the material. A second nozzle of the multiple-nozzle tool is effective to provide a greater material coverage application than the first nozzle. The second nozzle may be implemented to apply the material at an interior area from the edge at which the first nozzle applies the material, in an exemplary aspect.
