PLANAR LAYERED MATERIAL MANUFACTURING METHOD AND APPARATUS
Continuously manufacturing a planar layered material by repeatedly performing a bank portion forming step of supplying a first liquid material to a first workpiece and forming a bank portion in a frame shape, filled portion forming step of supplying a second liquid material to an inner side of the formed bank portion and forming a filled portion, and a bonding step of bonding the first workpiece with the filled portion formed thereon and a second workpiece to each other, the planar layered material manufacturing method comprises a height measurement step of measuring, by a height measurement device, a height of the filled portion or the bank portion formed on the first workpiece, and a height adjustment step of adjusting a relative height between the filled portion and the bank portion on the basis of the height of the filled portion or the bank portion measured in the height measurement step.
Film forming apparatus
Inside a heating space of a heating chamber, a first heating treatment of moving a substrate along a substrate moving direction is performed by a first conveyor. After that, first conveyance processing of moving the substrate along a conveying direction is performed by a second conveyor. At this time, source mist is sprayed on the substrate by first thin film forming nozzles. Subsequently, second heating treatment is performed by a third conveyor. After that, second conveyance processing is performed by a fourth conveyor. At this time, source mist is sprayed on the substrate by second thin film forming nozzles.
Apparatus and method for the drying/curing of chemical products
An apparatus for matting a coating applied on mainly flat panels includes a cleaning workstation and an excimer treatment workstation where the panels are conveyed by a belt conveyor having an upper outward section and a lower return section. In the cleaning workstation, the upper outward section of the belt conveyor has a V-shaped path, which is formed by two rollers in contact with the plane of advancement of the panel, and a roller in lower position, and which is bridged by advancing rollers, among which gaseous nitrogen is supplied that brushes all sides of the panel. In the treatment workstation, the upper outward section of the belt has a V-shaped path, where the panel is irradiated by an excimer emitter, and which is formed by two rollers in contact with the plane of advancement of the panel, and a roller in lower position, and is bridged by advancing rollers.
Analytic substrate coating apparatus and method
An apparatus and method for producing a coated analytic substrate using a compact and portable automated instrument located in the laboratory setting at the point of use which can consistently produce one or a plurality of coated analytic substrates “on demand” for using the analytic substrate immediately after coating, preferably without a step of rinsing the coated analytic substrate before use. The apparatus preferably uses applicator cartridges having a reservoir containing the coating compositions used to form the coatings. Preferably the cartridges are removable and interchangeable to facilitate the production of individual analytic substrates having different coatings or different coating patterns. These coated analytic substrates have superior specimen adhesion characteristics due to the improved quality of the coatings applied by the coating apparatus and due to the quickness with which the coated analytic substrates can be used in the lab after production.
Protective coating
A method for depositing a protective coating onto a substrate, wherein the protective coating comprises (i) a moisture-barrier layer which is in contact with the substrate and which comprises a first sub-layer, optionally one or more intermediate sub-layers, and a final sub-layer, (ii) a mechanical-protective layer which is inorganic, and (iii) a gradient layer interposing the moisture-barrier layer and the mechanical-protective layer.
Production method and apparatus for applying faux wood grain finish on material
A method and apparatus for applying a faux wood grain finish to plastic architectural plastic boards. The method employs a climate-controlled area for denibbing of boards to prepare a surface and a sprayer to achieve a desired depth of color. A wiper spreads the sprayed on material to form a faux grain finish which may include faux wood knots. The boards are directed through a combination infrared and convection oven having independent curing zones providing specific drying profiles. Once cured, the boards are cooled with forced air cool down fans and transferred into a climate-controlled area for applying a topcoat. The topcoat board is passed through an oven set to a defined temperature for curing and cooled down with forced air cool down fans before packaging and shipping.
Methods for dispensing and adhering hot melt entrained polymers to substrates
Disclosed are an entrained polymer or an entrained polymer composition, and a method for forming and adhering an entrained polymer structure to a substrate using the entrained polymer or an entrained polymer composition. The method includes providing a substrate configured to receive application of a molten entrained polymer. A particulate entrained polymer in molten form is applied in a predetermined shape, to a surface of the substrate, to form a solidified entrained polymer structure on the substrate. The entrained polymer includes a monolithic material formed of at least a base polymer and a particulate active agent. The surface of the substrate is compatible with the molten entrained polymer so as to thermally bond with it. In this way, the entrained polymer bonds to the substrate and solidifies upon sufficient cooling of the entrained polymer.

DIGITAL THERMAL BINDER AND POWDER PRINTING
A method of forming a digital print on a surface by applying powder of dry ink including colourants on the surface, bonding a part of the dry ink powder to the surface by a digital heating print head such that the digital print is formed by the bonded dry ink colourants and removing non-bonded dry ink from the surface.
