09610606 · 2017-04-04 · ·

A method of manufacturing a honeycomb structured body, includes providing an application jig. A sealing material paste is put on a peripheral surface of a pillar-shaped ceramic block. The application jig is set in such a manner that a first principal surface of the application jig faces upward and a second principal surface of the application jig faces downward. The ceramic block is placed inside a second opening section of the application jig. The ceramic block is passed through an opening section of the application jig so that a face defining the second opening section spreads an entire peripheral surface of the ceramic block with the sealing material paste to manufacture a honeycomb structured body with a peripheral sealing material layer formed on the peripheral surface of the ceramic block.

Preparation method for three-layer artificial blood vessel and application thereof

The present invention provides a preparation method preparation method for three-layer artificial blood vessel and application thereof. The three-layer artificial blood vessel comprise three layers, electrospinning inner layer, dense middle layer and electrospinning outer layer, the three-layer structure is closely combined and difficult to separate. The inner layer with a cytoskeleton-like structure can promote the formation of intima; the dense middle layer can effectively prevent the leakage of biomacromolecules and increase the puncture resistance of the whole artificial blood vessel; and the outer layer can promote the growth of tissue cells and better integrate with tissue. The three-layer artificial blood vessel provided by the invention has excellent blood compatibility, good flexibility, good puncture resistance and interlayer peeling resistance. The preparation method is convenient and is suitable for industrial scale production.

Plastic overmolding of aluminum extrusions
09555569 · 2017-01-31 · ·

A plastic overmold aluminum extrusion including at least one plastic overmold and aluminum extrusion. The aluminum extrusion is formed with sufficient cross sectional properties and features such as an internal web to help prevent undesirable collapses under injection or compression molding pressures. This improves part geometry and strength while minimizing weight. A plurality of protrusions and/or local deformations on an outer wall of the extrusion can be used to create strong mechanical interface to the plastic. Localized deformations can result from a combination of the applied plastic pressure under injection or compression molding pressures and the proximity of outer gaps of the internal web structure. A process of making the plastic overmold aluminum extrusion includes inserting at least one aluminum extrusion into a mold without mandrels and delivering plastic forming the plastic overmold.

PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING COPPER CONDUITS FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS WITH IMPROVED ANTI-CORROSIVE PERFORMANCE
20250122970 · 2025-04-17 ·

A continuous process for producing an air conditioning conduit is provided. The continuous process involves unwinding a copper tube from at least one coil and straightening the copper tube, cleaning the copper tube by plasma treatment, heating the copper tube to complete the cleaning of the copper tube, applying at least one adhesive on an outer surface of the copper tube, applying at least one polyamide anti-corrosion barrier layer over the at least one adhesive, cooling the copper tube coated with the at least one adhesive and the at least one polyamide anti-corrosion barrier layer, and applying around the coated and cooled copper tube at least one insulation layer made of closed-cell insulation material, thus obtaining the air conditioning conduit. The continuous process has the advantages of producing an air conditioning conduit that counteracts the phenomenon of formicary corrosion.

Method of coating pipes or pipe sections

The present publication discloses a method for coating pipes. The method comprises applying curable first polymer (e.g. epoxy) onto the surface of the pipe and partially curing the first polymer or leaving the first polymer uncured to in order to form a reactive first polymer layer. Thereafter, the pipe with the reactive first polymer layer is heated and a second polymer (e.g. polyolefin) is applied directly onto the heated reactive first polymer layer, whereby the two polymers react and form a protective coating on the pipe or pipe section. In particular, the heating can be carried out in two steps such that the first polymer stays reactive until the application of the second polymer.

Method for anticorrosion treatment of outer surface of heat exchange tube made of aluminum extrusion and method for producing heat exchanger

The anticorrosion treatment method of the invention is carried out on the outer surface of an aluminum extruded heat exchange tube which is formed of an Al alloy containing Mn 0.2 to 0.3 mass %, Cu 0.05 mass % or less, and Fe 0.2 mass % or less, and which has a wall thickness of 200 m or less. The anticorrosion treatment method includes applying a specific dispersion of a flux powder and a Zn powder onto the outer surface of the heat exchange tube, and vaporizing a liquid component of the dispersion, to thereby deposit the Zn powder and the flux powder on the outer surface of the heat exchange tube, such that the Zn powder deposition amount, the flux powder deposition amount, and the ratio of the flux powder deposition amount to the Zn powder deposition amount are adjusted to specific values.
