Adjustable closing system for an agricultural implement
A row unit of an agricultural implement includes an opening system configured to engage soil to form a furrow, sensors configured to detect a soil tightness, soil conditions, operational conditions, or a combination thereof, and a closing system configured to close the furrow. The closing system includes a first closing disc configured to engage the soil and close the furrow and a second closing disc configured to engage the soil and close the furrow. The row unit also includes a controller configured to receive feedback from the sensors and to control a position, an orientation, or both, of the first closing disc, the second closing disc, or both, in response to feedback from the sensors.

A second preferably disc-shaped cutting element (105) having a second cutting edge (106) is arranged on the support structure (101) and is designed such that when the support structure (101) is moved on the ground (120) along a ploughing direction (110), a base region (203) of a soil ridge (201) of the ground (120) is being cut by a second cutting region (118) of the second cutting edge (106), wherein the second cutting element (105) is arranged relative to the first cutting element (102) in the ploughing direction (110) such that the second cutting region (118) is arranged before the first cutting region (104) in the ploughing direction (110).

A method for ploughing a ground (120) using a plough device (100). A rotatable first plate-like cutting element (102) having a circumferential first cutting edge (103) is arranged on a support structure (101) and is designed such that when the support structure (101) is moved on the ground (120) along a ploughing direction (110), a side region (202) of a soil ridge (201) of the ground (120) is being cut by a first cutting region (104) of the first cutting edge (103). A second preferably disc-shaped cutting element (105) having a second cutting edge (106) is arranged on the support structure (101) and is designed such that when the support structure (101) is moved on the ground (120) along a ploughing direction (110), a base region (203) of a soil ridge (201) of the ground (120) is being cut by a second cutting region (118) of the second cutting edge (106), wherein the second cutting element (105) is arranged relative to the first cutting element (102) in the ploughing direction (110) such that the second cutting region (118) is arranged before the first cutting region (104) in the ploughing direction (110).

A tillage implement, a tillage machine, and a method of tilling soil is provided. The tillage implement includes a mounting bracket that couples to a rolling frame, a shank pivotably coupled to the mounting bracket via a hinge assembly, a soil working tool operatively coupled to a distal end of the shank, and a preload assembly for moving the shank to a loaded position that is rotationally offset from an unloaded position. The tillage machine includes a rolling frame that is pulled by a tow vehicle when tilling a field and multiple ones of the tillage implements operatively coupled to the rolling frame that contact and till the field. And the method includes attaching the tillage implement to a rolling frame, preloading the hinge assembly by moving the shank to a loaded position that is rotationally offset from the unloaded position, and contacting the soil with the soil working tool.

SCRAPER DEVICE FOR A DISC OF AN AGRICULTURAL MACHINE AND ASSOCIATED AGRICULTURAL MACHINE
The invention relates to a scraper device for a disc of an agricultural machine comprising:
a first outer scraper element comprising a suitable first scraper portion intended to rest against the outer surface of the first disc and a suitable first coupling portion intended to be coupled to a chassis of the agricultural machine;
a first inner scraper element comprising a suitable second scraper portion intended to rest against the inner surface of the first disc and a suitable second coupling portion intended to be coupled to the first coupling portion of the first outer scraper element;
the first inner scraper element being swivel-mounted with respect to the first outer scraper element around a second rotation axis;
characterized in that it comprises:
a resetting means connected to the second coupling portion to cause a rotational movement of the first inner scraper element along the second rotation axis, so as to press the second scraper portion against the inner surface of the first disc and so as to cause a rotational movement of the first outer scraper element along the first rotation axis to press the first scraper portion against the outer surface of the first disc.
