A job-site tool in one aspect of the present disclosure includes and a display. The display is configured to display information regarding the job-site tool. The display includes a circuit board, at least one light emitter, an electric conduction member, at least one lens, and a resin member. The at least one lens is provided on the circuit board to cover the at least one light emitter. The resin member includes a lens cover area that covers surroundings of the at least one lens to thereby secure the at least one lens to the circuit board, and an electric conduction cover area that covers the electric conduction member.

A tilling apparatus (10) has a head part (12), a blade arrangement (14), a motor (16) with a motion mechanism (64) housed within a housing (60) and an elongate handle (26). The blade arrangement (14) has a first blade (18′) and a second blade (18″) configured for reciprocating back-and-forth, up-and-down motion. The handle (26) has a tube portion (32) and a holding portion (28). A user holds the handle portion (28) and positions the blade arrangement (14) at a location within an area of the ground to be tilled. The user rests the weight of the apparatus (10) on the ground through the blade arrangement (14), actuates and moves the apparatus over the area to be tilled. An upward, resultant force from the ground on the blade arrangement (14) and a downward force from the weight of the apparatus allows the user to move the apparatus.

A method of refurbishing a handheld landscape power tool includes separating an original motor of the power tool from a tool head of the power tool. The tool head includes a tool shaft extending proximate to the original motor. A replacement power head and a shaft coupler are provided. The replacement power head includes a motor and a power shaft mechanically coupled to the motor. The shaft coupler includes a power shaft connecter coupled to a shaft-specific connecter. The replacement power head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the power shaft connecter to the power shaft of the replacement power head. The tool head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the shaft-specific connecter to the tool shaft of the tool head.

An embodiment provides a handheld implement, including: an elongated handle comprising a first end and a second end substantially opposite the first end; an implement head located at and mechanically attached to one of: the first end and the second end; and a light source mechanically coupled to and along a longitudinal axis of the elongated handle, wherein the light source is positioned at a location on the elongated handle such that a least a portion of light that emits from the light source illuminates an area proximate to the implement head. A power tool ensemble includes at least a power head, a first shaft coupler, and a second shaft coupler, for use with tool heads of landscaping tools. The power head includes a motor and a power shaft mechanically coupled to the motor. Each shaft coupler includes a power shaft connecter for connecting to the power shaft, and a shaft-specific connecter for connecting to tool shafts of the tool heads. In each shaft coupler, the power shaft connecter is mechanically coupled to the shaft-specific connecter. The shaft-specific connecter in the first shaft coupler has a different tool shaft configuration from the shaft-specific connecter in the second shaft coupler.

A method of refurbishing a handheld landscape power tool includes separating an original motor of the power tool from a tool head of the power tool. The tool head includes a tool shaft extending proximate to the original motor. A replacement power head and a shaft coupler are provided. The replacement power head includes a motor and a power shaft mechanically coupled to the motor. The shaft coupler includes a power shaft connecter coupled to a shaft-specific connecter. The replacement power head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the power shaft connecter to the power shaft of the replacement power head. The tool head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the shaft-specific connecter to the tool shaft of the tool head.

A dethatcher includes a frame having a front and a rear end, a handle coupled to the frame and movable between a use position and a storage position, multiple wheels coupled to the frame, a cutting reel housed in the frame, and an engine for powering a drive mechanism of the shaft. The cutting reel includes a shaft having a first end and a second end, at least one cutting mechanism located between the first end and the second end of the shaft, and the drive mechanism for powering the shaft. When the handle is in the use position, the handle extends away from the front end of the frame and when the handle is in the storage position the handle extends toward the front end of the frame.

A handheld lawn maintenance tool having a power head to which an adapter is attachable to allow both battery-powered and gasoline-powered working attachments to be attached thereto. The power head includes a power source, integrated first and second handles, a power generator, and a first attachment mechanism to which the adapter and/or working attachments are attachable.

A scraper glove is provided and includes a glove body including one or more finger sleeves; and one or more scraper elements. Each of the scraper elements includes a receptacle portion positioned within a respective one of the finger sleeves to accept one or more fingers of a user, and a scraping portion with one or more scraping edges extending from a tip of a corresponding finger sleeve and integrally connected to the corresponding receptacle portion, wherein the scraping portion is configured to scrape a plant-based medium.

A scraper glove is provided and includes a glove body including one or more finger sleeves; and one or more scraper elements. Each of the scraper elements includes a receptacle portion positioned within a respective one of the finger sleeves to accept one or more fingers of a user, and a scraping portion with one or more scraping edges extending from a tip of a corresponding finger sleeve and integrally connected to the corresponding receptacle portion, wherein the scraping portion is configured to scrape a plant-based medium.
