A modular laundry system includes a laundry appliance defining a width and a height. A module is below the laundry appliance. The module has a cabinet with an open face. A tub is provided within the cabinet. A washing or drying chamber is provided within the tub for receiving fabric items to be washed or dried.

A retracting rack for an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The rack may be positionable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A spring may drive the rack towards the stowed position. A locking mechanism may be used to secure the rack in one or more positions. A release mechanism and/or a reset mechanism may be used to control the retracting cycle of the rack.

A pullout guide for domestic appliances or furniture has a first rail, a second rail and a third rail mounted to be movable in relation to one another. The third rail is fixed on a body and the first rail is connected to a thrust element. A locking mechanism is provided to lock the first rail against movement in relation to the second rail in a predetermined locking position. The locking mechanism has a locking element that is pre-tensioned in a springy manner in the predetermined locking position.

A pair of slide rails supports a unit on inner side surfaces of a housing in a drawable manner. Each of the pair of slide rails includes a fixed rail, an intermediate rail, and a moving rail. The fixed rail is fixed on the inner side surface along a draw-in direction and a draw-out direction. The intermediate rail is engaged with the fixed rail in a slidable manner. A retracting device includes a housing that is disposed in or on an accommodating unit to be pulled out from an apparatus including a protrusion and that has a groove extending from a first position to a second position and having an opening formed at the first position, the first position corresponding to a position of the protrusion when the accommodating unit moving in a direction in which the accommodating unit is accommodated into the apparatus reaches a predetermined position and the second position corresponding to a position of the protrusion when the accommodating unit is accommodated in the apparatus, and a movable unit that is disposed in the housing and that moves, when the accommodating unit reaches the predetermined position and the protrusion enters the opening, while holding the protrusion to cause the protrusion to move along the groove and with respect to the housing toward the second position.

One embodiment of the present invention provides an actuator comprising: a housing having a mounting space part formed therein; a motor part provided inside the housing and generating power; a reduction gear part of which a plurality of gears respectively having an internal gear and an external gear sequentially engage with each other so as to transmit the power generated in the motor part; and a rod part engaging with the gear disposed at the last position, and linearly moving according to the rotation of the gear, wherein one of the plurality of gears is formed such that the internal gear and the external gear can rotate together or rotate independently.

A laundry system having a first laundry appliance for washing fabric items, a second laundry appliance for drying fabric items horizontally arranged relative to the first laundry appliance, a washing module vertically arranged above one of the first laundry appliance or the second laundry appliance, and a non-tumble drying module vertically arranged above the other of the first laundry appliance or the second laundry appliance for drying fabric items.

A retracting rack for an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The rack may be positionable between a stowed position and a deployed position. An appliance pedestal system having: a cabinet defining an enclosure having a front face and an opening through the front face; a drawer comprising an open-topped container movably mounted to the cabinet and configured to slide between a closed position in which a drawer front at a front end of the drawer is adjacent the front face of the cabinet and an open position in which the drawer front is spaced from the front the face of the cabinet; and a trim piece configured to be selectively connected to a bottom of the drawer at a location below the drawer front, or to the front face of the cabinet at a location below the drawer front when the drawer is in the closed position. The drawer may comprise other types of closure, such as a door. A method for installing the pedestal system is also provided.

A refrigeration appliance has a storage box with an open upper end. First and second hanging pins are disposed on a cover plate. The first hanging pin is hung in a first hanger loop and is movable in a front-rear direction and/or an up-down direction in the first hanger loop. The second hanging pin is hung in a second hanger loop and is movable in the front-rear direction and/or the up-down direction in the second hanger loop. The cover plate is movable in the front-rear direction and/or the up-down direction relative to the storage box to at least partially open and close the storage box. The first hanger loop includes an open section that enables the first hanging pin to enter the first hanger loop from the open section and the cover plate of the refrigeration appliance is thereby easy to install.
