Separator attachment for a vibratory apparatus
A separator attachment for use with a vibratory apparatus, the attachment including a housing mountable to a vibratory apparatus below a material-conveying surface of the vibratory apparatus, the housing defining a pressure chamber with an inlet and an outlet. The housing has at least one wall with a wall surface having a first end disposed proximate to the outlet of the pressure chamber and a second end. The attachment also includes a deflector plate with a deflector plate surface having a first end disposed proximate to the outlet of the pressure chamber and a second end, the deflector plate surface facing the wall surface. The deflector plate is translatable relative to the at least one wall to vary the spacing between the deflector plate surface and the wall surface. A system including a vibratory apparatus and the attachment may also be defined.
Screening apparatus
A screening apparatus for grading particulate material includes a grading screen having apertures for water and/or undersize particles to pass through. The grading screen is supported on a frame mounted on a chassis via resilient linkages, and the grading screen being vibrated by a vibrating device that imparts circular or reciprocating motion to the grading screen. The grading screen is set at a predetermined slope whereby material to be graded can be delivered onto an upper end while the grading screen is vibrated to convey the material over the grading screen and to cause undersize material to pass through the apertures. Oversize material is discharged from a lower end of the screen onto a conveyor or into a collection bay or hopper. A sump beneath the grading screen receives under-sized material passing through the grading screen, and a jet pump conveys material from the sump to a dewatering screen.

The three-degree-of-freedom hybrid vibratory screening mechanism comprises a frame, a vibrating screen, a first driving mechanism, a second driving mechanism, sensors and a controller; parallel drive of hydraulic motors are used for achieving two-degree-of-freedom rotational adjustment of the horizontal attitude angle and inclination angle of the screen surface of the vibrating screen, and the first driving mechanism drives the vibrating screen to reciprocate in one degree of freedom, so as to realize three-degree-of-freedom vibration adjustment of the screen surface; a vibration parameter control model is established by means of theoretical analysis in combination with experiment. In the operating process, the sensors installed at the tail part of the vibrating screen monitor the loss rate and distribution of the grains in real time, and the horizontal attitude angle of the screen surface, inclination angle of the screen surface and vibration frequency are self-adaptively optimized and adjusted to promote uniform and discrete distribution of the material on the screen surface, so that the screening efficiency of the material under a condition of non-uniform material feeding is effectively improved and the loss rate of the grains is decreased.

A system for measuring volume flow of a material includes: an imaging receiver for receiving images of a screen deck of a vibratory shaker from an overhead position; at least one illumination device for projecting a line of light onto the screen deck from an angle different than a viewing angle of the imaging receiver to the screen deck; and a mounting bracket for holding the imaging receiver and the at least one illumination device in a substantially fixed relative position to one another and to the screen deck.
