The invention relates to screening panels such as a mineral screening panel, and related screening systems. In one aspect, the invention provides a panel suitable for engaging a supporting frame in abutment with a number of adjacent screening panels including: a screening surface with peripheral sides and screening apertures between the peripheral sides; each peripheral side having a plurality of engaging protrusions extending from the peripheral side in a direction transverse to the screening surface for engaging the supporting frame to secure the screening panel to the supporting frame; wherein the protrusions are shaped and sized to engage complementary formations on the supporting frame in a snap-fit configuration. The invention also relates to a screening system including a plurality of screening panels and a supporting frame.

Self-cleaning screen

A self-cleaning screen is formed via additive printing. The dimensions of the self-cleaning screen are modified. Supports are printed via additive printing. The supports are formed over a plurality of wires. Side seals may be additively printed along major sides of the plurality of wires. Wear of the screens is monitored.

A sifter insert for use in a sifting device has an insert frame and a screening media affixed thereto. An insert frame air channel is located within the insert frame. The sifter insert is sized to be received in a sifter box frame of an associated sifter box. The sifter box frame has a box frame air channel in fluid communication with the insert box frame channel of the received sifter insert. The passage of air through the box frame air channel and the insert frame air channel may cool the sifter box and the insert frame, and may cool the screening media and the material being sifted thereon. Channel holes in the insert frame may direct air from the insert frame air channel to the screening surface of the screening media.

The invention is based on a sieving device with at least one rotary drum unit comprising a plurality of sieving openings, said sieving openings being respectively arranged around a centre point of the sieving openings and being categorized in at least one structure group and at least one further structure group and at least one further structure group, wherein the first structure group the centre points of neighbouring sieving openings are arranged at a first intra-distance to one another, and wherein in the further structure group the centre points of neighbouring sieving openings are arranged at a further intra-distance to one another, wherein the smallest structure distance between a centre point of at least one sieving opening in the at least one first structure group and a nearest situated center point of at least one sieving opening in the at least one further structure group is greater than the first intra-distance.

Screen dump station system for disposing of spent drilling mud

A processing system for a slurry material. The system has a vibratory screen disposed atop an open-topped tank. A travel path for a vehicle is disposed directly above the screen and the tank. Slurry material dumped from the vehicle onto the screen is separated at the screen into a particulate-rich stream and a fluid-rich stream. The fluid-rich stream may be pumped to a cleaner so that it may be stored and re-used as drilling fluid. The screen may be a conveyor which removes the particulate-rich stream from above the tank.

Continuous sieving apparatuses for pupae separation

A continuous sieving apparatus is described. The continuous sieving apparatus includes a sieve surface attached to a wall. A set of openings is formed in the sieve surface so as to define a set of pathways extending through the sieve surface. The set of opening are defined by a length dimension that is greater than a width dimension. An action system is configured to move the sieve surface in one or more directions (e.g., horizontally and vertically). Such movement causes a first pupa having a first cephalothorax width that is less than the width dimension to move through any one of the set of openings, and a second pupa having a second cephalothorax width that is greater than the width dimension to be prevented from moving through the set of openings.
