Removal of sand impurities in wet processing
Methods and systems for treating mined sand to remove an impurity in accordance with the disclosure. An example method mined sand provides mined sand containing the impurity, contacting the mined sand with an aqueous treatment fluid comprising an ethoxylated alcohol and a sulfonic acid derivative, and drying the mined sand; wherein at least a portion of the impurity is removed from the dried mined sand after contact of the mined sand with the aqueous treatment fluid.

This system is for implementing a method for feeding of a granulated substance, and is provided with: a feeding path through which cut tobacco is fed toward a tobacco band in a cigarette manufacturing machine; a separation device for separating, by winnowing, the cut tobacco into good products and sub-standard products that are heavier than the good products, in the process of feeding the cut tobacco; an adjustment device that is capable of directly and/or indirectly adjusting the velocity of a current of air used for separation through winnowing; a transfer path which receives and transfers the sub-standard products discharged from the separation device; a weighing device which takes a sample of the sub-standard products being transferred on the transfer path and measures the weight of the sampled sub-standard products and outputs the weighing result; and a controller which, on the basis of the weighing result, controls the operation of the adjustment device so as to bring the sampling weight equal to a target value being the management standard.

Centrifugal separator comprising special separator wheel
A centrifugal classifier including a classifier housing having at least one coarse material outlet and a classifier wheel, revolving in the classifier housing. The classifier wheel is comprised of a classifier drum and a classifier wheel shaft forming the axis of rotation of the classifier drum. A guide member is arranged near the coarse material outlet, at a set distance from the inner jacket surface of the classifier housing section surrounding the classifier drum. The guide member is configured such that classifying material flowing along the inner jacket surface at a radial distance less than or equal to the set distance circumvents the guide member and is discharged into the coarse material outlet and classifying material flowing along the inner jacket surface at a radial distance greater than the set distance is deflected in a radially inward direction toward the classifying drum.
Centrifugal separator comprising special separator wheel
A centrifugal classifier including a classifier housing having at least one coarse material outlet and a classifier wheel, revolving in the classifier housing. The classifier wheel is comprised of a classifier drum and a classifier wheel shaft forming the axis of rotation of the classifier drum. A guide member is arranged near the coarse material outlet, at a set distance from the inner jacket surface of the classifier housing section surrounding the classifier drum. The guide member is configured such that classifying material flowing along the inner jacket surface at a radial distance less than or equal to the set distance circumvents the guide member and is discharged into the coarse material outlet and classifying material flowing along the inner jacket surface at a radial distance greater than the set distance is deflected in a radially inward direction toward the classifying drum.
CURVILINEAR SURFACE CLASSIFICATION OF FEED STOCK
A method and system for air classification of a milled feed stock includes generating a feed stream by combining the milled feed stock with at least one gasflow element, wherein the milled feed stock includes a plurality of particle sizes. The method and system includes directing the feed stream across a curvilinear surface, such that the milled feed stock in the feed stream separates into a plurality of classification streams, each of the plurality of classification streams based on the particle sizes of the milled feed stock. Therein, the method and system separates the plurality of classification streams and collects each of the plurality of classification streams, thereby classifying the milled feed stock contained therein based on the particle sizes for each of the plurality of classification streams.
Separating device
A separating device is provided for separating a harvested mixture of root crops and admixtures. The separating device includes at least one conveyor element which circulates in operation at least for supplying the harvested mixture to a separation region, or for discharging the root crops from the separation region in a conveying direction. The separating device includes at least one fluid flow generator and at least one directing device for directing a fluid flow in a fluid flow direction to the separation region. The directing device is at least realized in at least one directing portion by the conveyor element itself.
Separating device
A separating device is provided for separating a harvested mixture of root crops and admixtures. The separating device includes at least one conveyor element which circulates in operation at least for supplying the harvested mixture to a separation region, or for discharging the root crops from the separation region in a conveying direction. The separating device includes at least one fluid flow generator and at least one directing device for directing a fluid flow in a fluid flow direction to the separation region. The directing device is at least realized in at least one directing portion by the conveyor element itself.
Screen apparatus
A screen apparatus for screening granulate, in particular moist and/or dry granulate, having a screen housing having a base, a cover and a side wall, an inlet for the granulate arranged on the screen housing, an outlet for the screened granulate arranged on the screen housing, a screen arranged in the screen housing and an inlet for transfer air. The outlet for the screened granulate, which is arranged on the screen housing is arranged on the side wall of the screen housing.
