Inflation-activated separator screen
Vibratory separator screens separate solids and/or fluids, methods form said screens and vibratory screen apparatuses utilize said screens. The vibratory separator screens, methods and apparatuses have a mesh portion having a first side of the mesh portion and an opposite second side of the mesh portion, a first hem crimp affixed to the first side of the mesh portion, and a second hem crimp affixed to the second side of the mesh portion.
Shale Shaker Basket System
A basket system for a shale shaker includes a front, solids discharge end and a rear, feed end, spaced apart by opposed first and second sides. The feed end includes a fluid retaining wall. A first screen deck frame is mounted or mountable to the basket for supporting a screening surface and forming a first screen deck in use. The screening surface of the first screen deck has a lower, feed receiving end that is proximal to the fluid retaining wall at the rear end of the basket and a distal, higher, solids discharge end at the front end of the basket. The basket further includes at least one mounting for mounting at least one additional screen deck frame above or below the first screen deck frame.
SCREENING APPARATUS WITH IMPROVED SCREEN MEDIA
A screening apparatus comprising a body, a drive system for imparting vibrations to the body, and screen media that is coupled to the body by a resilient coupling mechanism that allows oscillatory movement of the screen media with respect to the body. In response to vibration of the body, the resilient coupling mechanism causes the screen media to oscillate in a manner that is amplified with respect to the vibration of the body. The amplification may depend on the frequency of the vibrations of the body and/or on the mass of any material gathered on the screen media.
METHOD AND APPARATUSES FOR SCREENING
A screening machine includes wall members, screen assembly guide members, a screen assembly and a compression assembly. The screen assembly includes a frame with a plurality of side members and a screen supported by the frame. The compression assembly is attached to at least one wall member and forms the screen assembly into a concave shape.
HEAVIES REMOVAL DEVICE FOR TOBACCO AIRFLOW SEPARATOR
A heavies removal device including a frame supporting a transporter, a perforated sheet, and an opposing weight. A plurality of upper arms pivotally connect the transporter with the frame and a matching number of lower arms pivotally connect the opposing weight to the frame. Air is directed through the perforated sheet. A drive assembly, including a motor and an eccentric bearing, drive the arms in an upward and forward fashion. As lamina is fed onto the infeed end of the perforated sheet, each forward stroke of the upper arms throws the lamina upward and forward toward the discharge end of the sheet. Vanes on the perforated sheet direct the air as needed to the forward of the sheet to achieve the desired transport. The heavies are transported to the discharge end of the device where they are removed and may afterward be sent through to the next phase of processing.
Side tensioning system for retaining screen media in a vibrating-type screening machine
A side tensioning assembly for retaining screen media to the side plates of a vibrating-type screening machine includes a support structure for supporting the screen media and a tensioning rail mountable to at least one side plate. At least one bolt assembly is provided for fastening the tensioning rail to at least one of the side plates. Each bolt assembly including a bolt connectable to the tensioning rail, at least one of side plates and at least one bolt engaging structure on a surface of the side plate. Each bolt engaging structure includes a cutout. The cutout is sized larger than the bolt but smaller than a nut. The movable plate has a bolt-securing position and a bolt-releasing position.
Screening tool and screening device
A screening tool includes at least a first screen lining which is coupled to a metal coupling element to which an ultrasonic transducer is connected which is connected by electrical lines to an ultrasonic generator. The screening tool includes a metal work plate which has a connection region and at least one first transfer region with first transfer openings, which first transfer region forms the first screen lining through which particles of the process material which are larger than the transfer openings can pass, from particles of the process material smaller than the transfer openings, wherein the coupling element is a curved or straight rod having a first end piece welded to the connection region and a second end piece mechanically connected to the ultrasonic transducer. The screening device includes one or more such screening tools and a control unit by means of which the ultrasonic generator is controllable.
Dual Screen Assembly for Vibrating Screening Machine
A screen system for improving a vibrating shaker apparatus for separating drilling fluid and drill cuttings is described. The screen system comprises a dual screen having a coarse mesh upper screen attached to a finer mesh lower screen with a channel between the two screens. One or both of the screens may be wedge shaped to affect the flow rate of drilling fluid and drill cuttings across the screen. The screen systems can be installed in existing shaker apparatuses using various attachment systems, such as wedge clamping systems, hydraulic or air pressure clamping systems, or hook screen systems.
A LINING ARRANGEMENT, AND A METHOD FOR FASTENING LINING ELEMENTS TO A SUPPORT STRUCTURE
The disclosure relates to a lining arrangement for wear protection comprising: at least one lining element arranged to be fastened to a support structure; and at least one device, the device comprising: a first element adapted to be received in a through hole of said at least one lining element or a through hole created by adjacent lining elements, the first element having an axially arranged opening; a second element for engagement with the first element, such that the at least one lining element is attached to the support structure upon interconnection between the first element and the second element, and wherein an outer periphery of the second element comprises a plurality of grooves for engagement with a handling tool. The disclosure further relates to a method for fastening lining elements to a support structure.
