COAL BENEFICIATION
The present invention relates to methods for beneficiating a banded coal of the type wherein a substantial portion of the ash constituents is within the cleats. The method includes subjecting a comminuted coal feed, including coal and ash and having a particle size of about −13.5 mm, to a density separation process to separate the comminuted coal feed, using a separating gravity value of from about 1.35 up to about 1.9, into a beneficiated coal fraction and an ash containing gangue fraction. The method may include the initial steps of subjecting a coarse coal having a size of up to −150 mm to a density separation process to separate the coarse coal into an initial light coal-containing fraction and an initial heavy ash containing gangue fraction; and subjecting at least a portion of the initial light coal-containing fraction to a comminution process to form the comminuted coal feed. The invention extends to a coal product produced by said methods.
USED PAPER DIAPER PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS
In a processing tank where a processing liquid is stored up to a first water level, first stirring processing that removes water from a used paper diaper is performed to remove the water from the used paper diaper. Then, the processing liquid is stored up to a second water level higher than the first water level, and second stirring processing that separates excrement contained in the used paper diaper from the used paper diaper is performed to separate the excrement from the used paper diaper. After that, dehydration processing is performed.
SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING SOLID AND LIQUID CONSTRUCTION WASTE
A system for processing solid and liquid waste includes a first shale shaker, a second shale shaker, a submersible pump, a centrifugal pump, a first collection tank, a second collection tank, a mud cleaner assembly, a variable frequency drive (VFD) centrifugal solid-liquid separator, and a water clarifying assembly. The first shale shaker is in fluid communication with the second shale shaker through the submersible pump. The second shale shaker is in fluid communication with the centrifugal pump through the first collection tank. The centrifugal pump is in fluid communication with the mud cleaner assembly. The mud cleaner assembly is in fluid communication with the VFD centrifugal solid-liquid separator through the water clarifying assembly. Resultantly, the system discharges a flow of usable water through the VFD centrifugal solid-liquid separator as an initial load of solid and liquid waste is inputted into the first shale shaker.
Wire member and method of making wire member
A screen basket for centrifuges having a wedge wire with a broad end and an opposite narrow end. The wedge wire narrows in width from the broad end to the narrow end and the wedge wire increases in depth from the broad end to the narrow end.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLEANING LARGE PIPES, SUCH AS STORM DRAIN CONDUITS
Apparatuses and methods for cleaning accumulated sediment from storm drain conduits and other large-diameter conduits are disclosed. A nozzle assembly is arranged to deliver a high-volume flow of water at a pressure high enough to loosen sediment from the interior of a conduit and to propel the nozzle assembly and an associated nozzle feed hose upstream within a conduit being cleaned. Water from the nozzle assembly flushes the sediment downstream and is then collected, partially cleaned, and reused in the nozzle assembly. Mud and clay may be left in the water to increase its specific gravity and viscosity. A self-contained portable and mobile system includes a tank and apparatus for removal of high concentrations of entrained or suspended solids, and a pump and conduits for delivering a high-volume flow of water, containing quantities of suspended solids, to the nozzle assembly.
AGGREGATE DEWATERING DEVICE AND METHOD
A dewatering device for aggregate product can be used to retro-fit existing aggregate product dewatering facilities in order to more efficiently capture product. The dewatering device can be movable to allow for the portability of the device relative to existing dewatering facilities. The device is adapted to receive a slurry of aggregate product and water and to vibrate to dry the aggregate product. A recycle system is included to receive any fines that may otherwise be lost by the system. The recycle system captures the fines and redirects them back towards the vibrating process of the vibrating device to direct them towards an exit of the vibrating device in order to use said fines as well as the other dewatered aggregate product. The portability of the device allows the device to be used with the existing facilities without the need to completely replace existing components for dewatering aggregate product.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WASHING AND GRADING SAND
A method and apparatus for washing and grading sand includes a first grading screen adapted to separate a feed material into a fine fraction and a coarse fraction, the coarse fraction having a greater particle size than the fine fraction. A first fines separation stage including one or more hydrocyclones is adapted to receive the fine fraction entrained in water, downstream of the first grading screen to thereby remove fine contaminants. A first dewatering screen includes a deck adapted to dewater the fine fraction downstream of the first fines separation stage to provide a fine sand product, and a second dewatering screen includes a deck adapted to dewater the coarse fraction downstream of the first grading screen to provide a coarse sand product.
VIBRATORY CLASSIFER APPARATUS
Vibratory classifier apparatus are provided, e.g., for classification of materials such as wet or dry aggregate materials. In some embodiments, a drive system of the vibratory classifier apparatus includes a housing that can optionally be modified to allow access to a belt or other components of the drive system.
Vibratory Screening Panel
A removable screen panel assembly for a vibratory screening machine for separating liquids and solids. The screen panel assembly includes a plate, a corrugated screen assembly supported by the plate, hook assemblies connected to opposite ends of the plate, and gaskets connected to the hook assemblies. A first hook assembly has a first end connected to a first end of the plate, a middle portion spaced above first apertures at the first end of the plate, and a second end parallel to the plate. The second end of the first hook assembly and the first end of the plate sandwich a first end of the corrugated screen assembly.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GRADING AND WASHING SAND
A method of grading and washing sand including the steps of removing oversize material from a feed material to which water is added on a first grading screen, whereby the oversize material passes over a downstream end of an apertured deck of the first grading screen, undersize material and water passing through the apertured deck being collected in a sump of the first grading screen before being passed onto an apertured deck of a second grading screen having apertures of a smaller size than those of the deck of the first grading screen, oversize material passing over a downstream end of the second grading screen, pumping water and undersize material from a sump of the second grading screen to a washing stage to remove fine contaminants therefrom.
