Object Sorting System And A Method Thereof
An object sorting system is presented which includes a hopper, a feeder, a roller pair, a pair of orientation flaps, an adjustable assembly, a first and second camera boxes and an ejection assembly. Feeder receives the shells from the hopper and feeds them uniformly over the gap between the rollers which guides and provides fixed orientation to the shells passing through them and conveys the shells which are relatively bigger than the gap between the rollers to one side of the pair of rollers towards the first collection chute by inclining the roller assembly in the range of 0 to 15 degrees towards the first collection chute. A pair of orientation flaps is placed parallel and exactly below the pair of rollers to avoid the deflection of shells caused immediately after passing through the roller gaps.
Process and System for the Manufacture of Vegetable Dough
A process and system is provided for the manufacture of vegetable dough using only water as an ingredient of the dough, and for a time interval ranging between 5 minutes and up to 10 minutes, wherein the vegetable is selected from vegetables and grains.
Method of producing gluten free oats
The separation of oats from a combination of grains is performed by obtaining optical data includes both reflectance data and visual data and then analyzing the data in multiple ways, including analyzing information obtained based on ratios of wavelengths and grain imagery. The reflectance data relies on near infrared spectroscopy at requisite ratios of wavelengths in the range of 1100 nm to 2200 nm, while the grain imagery encompasses images of both sides of each of the combination of grains and can also take into account grain size and shape differentiations. The results is an oats separation process wherein at least 99% of foreign grains are rejected with only about 3% of the oats being rejected, while enabling volume processing of grains and establishing a supply of oats with a gluten level well below 20 ppm.
Imaging system for sorting poultry meat with wooden breast myopathy
The image sorting system sorts normal chicken breast meat fillets from chicken fillets that exhibit wooden breast myopathy (i.e. WB fillets). In the preferred embodiment, a camera and associated controller gather data and construct a digital image of a chicken breast fillet as it travels on a conveyer belt. The digital image is used to calculate a centroid (i.e. center of mass) of the fillet. As the fillet moves over a nose of the conveyor belt and free-falls to a lower conveyor belt, the controller determines the distance between the fillet centroid and a reference point (preferably the conveyer belt axis of rotation). If the distance exceeds a predetermined minimum distance, the fillet is designated a WB fillet.
SEED SORTER
A seed sorting system for sorting seeds includes a seed transfer station configured to move seeds through the system. An imaging assembly includes a 2D camera configured to acquire 2D images of the seeds as the seeds move through the system and a 3D camera configured to acquire 3D images of the seeds as the seeds move through the system. A sorting assembly is configured to sort the seeds into separate bins based on the acquired 2D and 3D images of the seeds.
Method of Producing Gluten Free Oats through Hyperstectral Imaging
A method of producing gluten-free oats from a supply of grains incorporating oats and at least one contaminant grain includes hyperspectral imaging and analyzing data of only a particular region of interest of each grain in the supply of grains, particularly excluding tip and peripheral edge regions of the grain. Therefore, the particular regions of interest is limited to a central region of each grain determined by locating a centroid of the grain and collecting data of the grain from only pixels in a predetermined spacing from the centroid. Preferably, the hyperspectral imaging is only performed in wavelengths ranging from 1000 to 2500 nm. The method can be particularly employed in connection with quality control sampling of a pre-sorted supply of gluten-free oats to assure a gluten level well below 20 ppm, preferably a gluten level of no greater than 10 ppm.
Assembly, and method, for processing fruit and vegetable products
An assembly for processing fruit and vegetable products includes a plurality of units for containing fruit and vegetable products (A), which can move in sequence along a conveyance line. The assembly includes at least one vision element, arranged along the line and intended at least to check the actual number (N) of containment units on which each product (A) lies and is conveyed along the line, with such actual number (N) being able to depend randomly or otherwise on the size, shape, arrangement and/or method of loading on the line of the respective product (A). Downstream of the element there are at least one first device for weighing a first predefined number (n.sub.1) of consecutive containment units and at least one second device for weighing a second predefined number (n.sub.2) of consecutive containment units.
Method and system of detecting foreign materials within an agricultural product stream
Methods and systems for detecting foreign material within a product stream in real-time, involve illuminating a portion of the agricultural product stream with light spanning a wavelength range including or within near-infrared and/or shortwave infrared wavelengths; scanning a line of the illuminated agricultural product stream to acquire a hyperspectral image of the line, the hyperspectral image of the line having a width of a single pixel; processing the hyperspectral image of the scanned line to obtain spectrum data for one or more pixels of the hyperspectral image of the scanned line; comparing the obtained spectrum data of the one or more pixels to predetermined spectrum data to determine whether the obtained spectrum data is indicative of foreign material within the scanned line of the agricultural product stream.
Sorter
A method and system for sorting workpieces, such as chicken nuggets. The sorting system includes a conveyor system that advances in a forward direction and one or more blow off bars positioned over the conveyor system. The blow off bars extend along the forward advancing direction. The blow off bars include one or more valved nozzles connected to a pressurized source of a fluid, and the nozzles are positioned to discharge the fluid across the conveyor system.

A product processing and packing system including a product classifier to determine a product classification of a product as a function of sensor data. The system also has a sorting conveyor to guide the product to a loading station or other product receiving area. The system also has at least one processor to control the sorting of the product into the desired loading station or product receiving area as a function of the product classification. The system may also have a packed box merge and take away system.
