Method and apparatus for cleaning a heat exchanger or water system
A cleaning system comprising: (a) one or more pumps; (b) one or more foamers; and (c) one or more cleaning reservoirs including one or more cleaning solutions; wherein the one or more foamers combine a fluid and the cleaning solution to form a foamed solution so that the solution is introduced into a system to be cleaned.
Reduced misting and clinging chlorine based hard surface cleaner
Alkaline sprayable aqueous compositions are disclosed. In particular, sprayable alkaline aqueous chlorine compositions including a surfactant system for modifying the viscosity of the composition, are combined with an alkalinity source and a chlorine source. Methods of cleaning having reduced amounts of airborne particulates of the composition during spray applications are also provided according to the invention, namely reduction of airborne particulates having a micron size of 10 or less within a breathing zone of a user of less than or equal to 60 particles/cm.sup.3.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR SELF-CLEANING AND MAINTAINING HVAC HEAT TRANSFER COILS
Apparatus and system for self-cleaning a heat transfer coil of an HVAC system includes a foam or spray generator, one or more manifolds, one or more couplers, and a controller. The foam or spray generator is configured to generate foam or spray. Each manifold includes one or more emitters. The couplers are configured to couple the manifolds onto the heat transfer coil of the HVAC system, such that the emitters are configured to emit the foam or spray onto a side of the heat transfer coil. The controller is configured to cause the foam or spray generator to generate the foam or spray and cause the emitters to emit the foam or spray when a fan is running, such that the foam or spray is caused to flow through the heat transfer coil to clean debris off or apply a treatment to the heat transfer coil.
METHODS OF CLEANING A COMPONENT WITHIN A TURBINE ENGINE
A method of cleaning a component within a turbine that includes disassembling the turbine engine to provide a flow path to an interior passageway of the component from an access point. The component has coked hydrocarbons formed thereon. The method further includes discharging a flow of cleaning solution towards the interior passageway from the access point, wherein the cleaning solution is configured to remove the coked hydrocarbons from the component.
NON-AQUEOUS CLEANER FOR VEGETABLE OIL SOILS
The invention discloses cleaning compositions which employ a synergistic combination of an ester solvent, preferably a fatty acid methyl ester in combination with one or more linear alkyl amines. The alkyl amines act as to remove and suspend organic oils which have been burnt or adhered to a surface with heat and may even be used alone as a soil removal agent. The cleaning compositions have particular use in cleaning of distillation towers associated with biofuel, and vegetable oil refining, but also find use in cleaning ovens, food cooking surfaces and even dry cleaning.
Gas turbine engine wash system
A wash system for a gas turbine engine includes a core turning assembly having a motor configured to be mechanically coupled to the gas turbine engine. The rotor of the core turning assembly is further configured to rotate one or more components of a compressor section or a turbine section of the gas turbine engine at a rotational speed greater than two (2) revolutions per minute and less than five hundred (500) revolutions per minute during washing operations of the gas turbine engine.
System and Method for Washing and De-icing Aircrafts
The present discloses a system for washing and de-icing of aircrafts. The preset invention provides a washing and deicing area comprising one or more gantries to ensure different steps of the washing or the de-icing process. The structure of the one or more gantries is essentially made of telescopic arms allowing more flexibility on the positioning of nozzle clusters during the washing and de-icing process. The use of such a mechanical system is easily accommodated to different aircraft bodies regardless their sizes. The whole functionality and positioning of the system is ensured by a programmable system comprising an aircraft position detection system and an aircraft contour detection system allowing the programmable system to reposition the nozzle clusters in a preferred location while avoiding contact with the aircraft.
Method of demonstrating the effectiveness of a cleaning composition
A method for providing to a consumer a visualization of the effectiveness of coloured stain removal of a cleaning composition on a substrate comprising the steps of: providing a first substrate having a first coloured stain, treating the first coloured stain with a first cleaning composition formulated to generate a foam, allowing the generated foam to act on the first coloured stain, and allowing the consumer to visually assess effectiveness of coloured stain removal of the first cleaning composition.
Foam producing and dispensing apparatus and method
An apparatus that produces and dispenses foam comprises a housing, an adjustable water flow member, an adjustable foam concentrate flow member, a first mixing chamber comprising an outlet, a water pressure reducing member with a portion thereof disposed within the first mixing chamber, a second mixing chamber in a communication with the outlet from the first mixing chamber, an air pressure reducing member with a portion thereof disposed within the second mixing chamber, a third mixing chamber in a communication with an outlet from the second mixing chamber, the third mixing chamber comprising a port in a communication with an external environment to the housing, and a screen member disposed within the third mixing chamber and configured to convert a mixture of air, water and foam concentrate exiting the outlet of the second mixing chamber into the foam, the foam being dispersed through the port during operation of the apparatus.
METHOD TO REMOVE EXPLOSIVE AND TOXIC GASES AND CLEAN METAL SURFACES IN HYDROCARBON EQUIPMENT
The present invention relates to a method of rapidly decontaminating and making safe for entry, hydrocarbon contaminated equipment by sequencing a cleaning mist or foam, an encapsulating mist or foam and a dry carrier gas.
