THROTTLE PLATE

An apparatus and method of restricting entry velocity into a tank is provided. To this end, a throttle plate is utilized to reduce circulation turbulence and significantly reduce the probability of damage to fragile articles undergoing deglazing, defrosting, washing or other circulation within a fluid tank. The throttle plate includes a main body with a top, bottom, and opposing sides and is configured to interface with a wash tank in a variety of throttle plate conditions. The main body of the throttle plate sits substantially against an interior wall of the wash tank, partially obscuring one or more inward flowing jets associated with the wash tank. Such obscuring dampens or throttles the flow of water from the jets into the wash tank. The throttle plate is adjustable; thus, a user of the wash tank can utilize the throttle plate to selectively control the flow of water into the tank.

Apparatus and method for support removal

An apparatus and method for removing support material from a part formed by three-dimensional (3D) printing. The support removal machine contains a tank for submersion of a 3D printed part into a liquid mass. The liquid mass circulates in the tank in a controlled manner such that submerged parts remain centrally suspended in the tank, regardless of the material, density and geometry comprising the part. The part circulates and rotates in conjunction with the rotational flow of the liquid mass for uniform exposure to means of support removal. During rotation, the part may be subjected to multiple means of agitation that include heat, chemical and ultrasonic, in order to optimize energy use and maximize efficiency of the removal of support material.

Portable Parts Washer

A portable parts washer for cleaning mechanical parts that includes a washer body having an upper portion, a lower portion, and a wash basin formed within the upper portion having inner sidewalls, a floor panel and at least one drain aperture. The portable parts washer also includes an in-use reservoir formed within the lower portion of the washer body and having a bottom panel spaced from the floor panel and outer sidewalls, and which is configured to receive cleaning fluid from the wash basin through the drain aperture when the floor panel is in a substantially horizontal orientation. The portable parts washer further includes a storage reservoir formed within the upper and lower portions and which is configured to contain the cleaning fluid from the in-use reservoir when the floor panel is rotated to a substantially vertical orientation.

Flush Station

An example flush station includes an upper cabinet and a lower cabinet. At least one cleaning head is mounted in the upper cabinet, and has an anchoring attachment, a cleaning solution inlet to dispense cleaning solution, and a compressed air inlet to dispense compressed air. A vacuum system may be provided in the upper cabinet to entrain airborne particulates. A catch basin formed in the lower cabinet receives spent cleaning solution from the upper cabinet. At least one settling tank in the lower cabinet receives spent cleaning solution from the catch basin for settling at least some suspended particulate matter in the spent cleaning solution. A grate at an interface between the upper section and the lower cabinet provides a cleaning deck for filters and/or other components to be cleaned during the cleaning operation. During the cleaning operation, cleaning solution and/or compressed air are dispensed through the filters and/or other components.
