APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUPPORT REMOVAL
An apparatus and method for removing support material from a part formed by three-dimensional (3D) printing. The support removal machine contains a tank for submersion of a 3D printed part into a liquid mass. The liquid mass circulates in the tank in a controlled manner such that submerged parts remain centrally suspended in the tank, regardless of the material, density and geometry comprising the part. The part circulates and rotates in conjunction with the rotational flow of the liquid mass for uniform exposure to means of support removal. During rotation, the part may be subjected to multiple means of agitation that include heat, chemical and ultrasonic, in order to optimize energy use and maximize efficiency of the removal of support material.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WASHING TRADES EQUIPMENT
A method of washing trades equipment comprising directing a wash fluid in a substantially clean state supplied from a supply tank by a first pump through a nozzle, at the equipment. Collecting the now contaminated wash fluid within a receptacle into a collection tank positioned above the supply tank. The wash fluid in the collection tank dosed by a coagulant is allowed to separate into relatively clean wash fluid above a layer of sediment in the collection tank, and at least a portion of the relatively clean wash fluid in said collection tank is discharged into the supply tank under the influence of gravity. Periodically a second pump is used to pump sediment and wash fluid to a filter assembly and that under the influence of gravity wash fluid passes through the filter assembly thereby by leaving behind a substantially de-watered sediment in the filter assembly,
Portable Overnight Degreasing System and Method of Use
The invention relates to a portable overnight degreasing system, a work station and a method of use. The invention includes a portable soak tank with a disposable liner bag liner removably placed within the interior of the soak tank. The liner bag is then filled with a cleaning solution and soiled items are lowered into the bag liner upon removable grates. An agitator pump is positioned within the portable soak tank to agitate the cleaning solution. The soiled items remain within the locked soak tank overnight or until grease and carbon falls off of the soiled items. An optional heater may be used within the soak tank to increase the speed of degreasing. The soak tank also includes a slanted floor that funnels fluid from the interior of the soak tank into a pipe that connects to a valve on the front wall of the soak tank. Fluid is removed from the system through the valve and then the empty liner bag is disposed. When used as a workstation, a protective cover is placed over the lid and upper portion of the soak tank and a cutting board is placed over the protective cover in a recessed pocket for use by kitchen staff.
CLEANING DISINFECTION AND DRYING SYSTEM
A cleaning, disinfection and drying system for preparing at least one of accessory parts and/or items for washing in general, in particular in pharmaceutical production and medical technology, includes a washing chamber including an access door and in which supply devices for washing liquids and drying air are arranged on spray nozzles and washing arms with spray nozzles, wherein the washing chamber includes an isolator system and has carriers for items for washing, incoming air and outgoing air guide devices provided with filters, a glove carrier, which is arranged in a wall of the washing chamber, for gloves extending into the washing chamber configured to manipulate the item for washing located in the washing chamber, and wherein the incoming air and outgoing air guide devices are configured to maintaining a differential pressure between the washing chamber and a work area in which the system is arranged.
Stent retriever cleaning devices and methods
An exemplary device is indicated for use in physically debriding thrombus fragments from a stent retriever, using hospital-grade saline, or heparinized saline, for example. This device may be used in the sterile field, during a mechanical thrombectomy procedure. An exemplary cleaning device for cleaning a stent retriever within a sterile surgical field may include a chamber configured to receive and enclose a stent retriever to be cleaned, at least one port configured for connection with a fluid source to enable inflow and/or outflow of a fluid to or from the chamber, and one or more support structures configured to support the stent retriever in a fixed position inside the chamber.
A WASHING APPARATUS FOR 3D-PRINTED ARTICLES
A washing apparatus for a 3D-printed article is provided for the removal of support material from the article. The apparatus includes a glove isolation cabinet with a liquid-discharging nozzle to enable an operator to spray an article with a washing liquid, and a drain. A first filter arrangement receives liquid discharged from the cabinet. The washing liquid drains through the first filter arrangement under the influence of gravity but the first filter arrangement is located in a trough in which washing liquid that has passed through the first filter arrangement accumulates whereby, in use, one or more filters of the first filter arrangement are submerged to ensure filtered-out residue remains submerged in the washing liquid. A pump is provided to pump liquid that has passed through the first filter arrangement through a second filter arrangement adapted to filter out solid material equal to or greater than 5 m in size.
Pot and pan washing machine
A non-welded field joint for connecting two portions of a pot and pan washing machine together as a single unit is provided.
Method for removing substrate material, for washing, and for drying parts produced by a 3-D printer
A method for removing substrate material from a part produced by a 3-D printer. The method includes providing a housing having a working chamber defined therein. The method further includes providing a spray header disposed along at least a portion of the perimeter of the working chamber. A pump is configured and arranged to convey a fluid at varying pressures through the spray header. Fluid contacts a part inserted into the working chamber and then flows to the bottom of the working chamber to a fluid outlet.
Powder removal enclosure for additively manufactured components
Various embodiments of the invention include an apparatus for removing particulates from the surface of a 3D printed workpiece. Various particular embodiments include a material removal apparatus having: an enclosure having a first inlet and a first outlet; a rotatable platform contained within the enclosure for positioning a 3D printed workpiece having particulate on a surface thereof; a pressurized fluid applicator connected to the first inlet and configured to selectively apply a pressurized fluid to the 3D printed workpiece; a vibration source configured to apply an adjustable vibratory frequency to at least one of the rotatable platform or the 3D printed workpiece; and a material reclamation unit connected to the first outlet configured to collect a material removed from the 3D printed workpiece.
Machine for Removing Substrate Material from Parts Produced by a 3-D Printer
A machine for washing and removing substrate material for parts produced by a 3D printer. The machine includes a working chamber and a disposal chamber. The machine has at least one inlet in fluid communication with the working chamber. The disposal chamber is disposed adjacent to the working chamber. A dividing wall is disposed between the working chamber and the disposal chamber. A pump conveys a working fluid to the at least one inlet in the working chamber. The disposal chamber and the working chamber are disposed in fluid communication such that working fluid passes from the working chamber to the disposal chamber. The machine may also include an ultrasonic generator for generating ultrasonic vibrations within the working chamber and a heater for warming the working fluid.
