METHOD FOR PRETREATING MAGNESIUM-ALLOY WASTE MATERIAL
A method comprises sorting and removing impurities from magnesium alloy waste material, and cleaning and drying said material, the cleaning being high-pressure rinsing, pickling, and water washing, performed in sequence. The method employs high-pressure rinsing during the pretreatment of magnesium alloy waste material; the cleaning effectiveness is excellent, the effectiveness of the removal of impurities from the surface of the magnesium alloy waste material is much better than in conventional processes, and the amount of clean waste material can exceed 90% of the total amount of processed waste material; the clean magnesium alloy waste material obtained from the pretreatment method may be used as the entire raw materials for casting national-standard alloy ingots, the addition of costly high-purity magnesium is unnecessary, and the amount of alloy raw material that must be added is significantly reduced; during processing, little waste material is lost, costs are low, and efficiency is high.
POWDER REMOVAL ENCLOSURE FOR ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED COMPONENTS
Various embodiments of the invention include an apparatus for removing particulates from the surface of a 3D printed workpiece. Various particular embodiments include a material removal apparatus having: an enclosure having a first inlet and a first outlet; a rotatable platform contained within the enclosure for positioning a 3D printed workpiece having particulate on a surface thereof; a pressurized fluid applicator connected to the first inlet and configured to selectively apply a pressurized fluid to the 3D printed workpiece; a vibration source configured to apply an adjustable vibratory frequency to at least one of the rotatable platform or the 3D printed workpiece; and a material reclamation unit connected to the first outlet configured to collect a material removed from the 3D printed workpiece.
LOW-PROFILE IMAGING SYSTEM WITH ENHANCED VIEWING ANGLES
Methods, devices, and systems of a light imaging and ranging system are provided. In particular, the imaging and ranging system includes a LIDAR sensor and a low-profile optics assembly having a reflective element with a continuous and uninterrupted reflective surface surrounding a periphery of a LIDAR sensor in a light path of the LIDAR sensor. The reflective element is positioned at a distance offset from the periphery of the LIDAR sensor and directs light emitted by the LIDAR sensor to a second reflective element that is substantially similar in shape and size as the reflective element. The second reflective element is arranged above and opposite the reflective element directing the light emitted by the LIDAR sensor to a sensing environment outside the imaging and ranging system.
AERIAL FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM
A fire suppression apparatus for fighting fires from a vehicle configured for flight is disclosed, comprising a foam and water held in separate containers aboard the vehicle that when mixed forms a fire retardant, a pump driven by an electric motor to pressurize the fire retardant, the pump including an air induction valve where air is drawn into a suction end of the pump and pressurized together with the fire retardant, and an aimable boom connected to the pump by a conduit, the boom including a nozzle on a distal end of the boom from which the pressurized fire retardant and air is dispensed toward a target.
CLEANING DEVICE FOR CLEANING A MECHANICAL CLEANING ASSEMBLY OF A CLEANING APPARATUS, AND CLEANING SYSTEM
A cleaning system includes: a cleaning appliance comprising a base member, which is provided with a mechanical cleaning arrangement, and a fluid tank; and a cleaning apparatus for cleaning the mechanical cleaning arrangement of the cleaning appliance, the cleaning apparatus including: a container having a recess for receiving the base member; and a nozzle arrangement associated with the recess. The nozzle arrangement is connected to an inlet in a flow-conducting manner. The fluid tank has an outlet which, to clean the cleaning arrangement, is connectable to the inlet of the cleaning apparatus.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING SUBSTRATE
Embodiments of the inventive concept described herein relate to an apparatus and method for removing an adhesive exposed to the outside from an object being processed. The apparatus for removing the adhesive exposed to the outside from an edge region of the object being processed, in which the object has a patterned substrate and a support plate bonded together by the adhesive, The cover liquid nozzle dispenses the cover liquid onto a cover area of a top surface of the object other than the exposed area, and the controller controls the cover liquid dispensing member to adjust a flow rate of the cover liquid to cause a removal rate of the adhesive to remain constant.
HIGH-PRESSURE CLEANING APPLIANCE
A high-pressure cleaning appliance includes a connection for a liquid source, a delivery pump, a motor for driving the delivery pump, a delivery line through which liquid can be delivered from the connection to a spraying-out opening of the delivery line via the delivery pump, and a valve which is arranged in the delivery line. The motor has two operating states. The two operating states include an off state and an on state. The valve has two valve states, wherein the two valve states include a closed state and an open state. In the closed state, the valve prevents a flow of liquid through the delivery line. In the open state, the valve allows a flow of liquid through the delivery line. The high-pressure cleaning appliance is structurally configured in such a way that the adjustment of the operating state of the motor is possible only if the valve is in the open state.
