A treatment apparatus including a chuck table, a table base, a servo motor that rotates the table base, and a determination unit that determines the kind of the chuck table mounted to the table base is provided. The determination unit includes a torque recording section in which a torque outputted by the servo motor when rotating the table base is recorded on the basis of the kind of the chuck table, and a determination section that collates the torque outputted by the servo motor with the torque recording section, to thereby determine the kind of the chuck table.

A crab eviscerating disc is used in a crab processing machine and a method for processing a crab to a market condition. The disc is used to mill a groove along the underside of a crab body without completely cutting the crab body. Each tooth on that disc has a cut clearance angle of zero degree, and a hook angle of zero degree. Because of these teeth, the depth of the groove is limited by a bony plate and a bony ridge in the crab body. The visceral cavities of the crab body are cleaned by high pressure water sprays oriented in the groove while the crab body is still attached.

An indoor gardening appliance includes a grow module positioned within a grow chamber for receiving one or more plant pods. The indoor gardening system includes a hydration system including a water supply for providing a flow of water into a mixing tank and a discharge nozzle for selectively discharging the flow of water into the grow chamber. The indoor gardening appliance further includes a cleaning assembly fluidly coupled to the hydration system for selectively discharging a cleaning agent into the flow of water to create a cleaning solution to facilitate a self-clean cycle.

A method of cleaning an HVAC coil unit located above a drain basin. One step of the method involves providing a supply and collection assembly having a reservoir containing liquid cleaning solution, a pump operative to output the liquid cleaning solution through a supply outlet, and a vacuum source operative to draw in used liquid cleaning solution through a collection inlet. According to another step, a nozzle device in fluid communication with the supply outlet is also provided, the nozzle device having a delivery face. A further step involves providing a fluid return tool in fluid communication with the collection inlet, and positioning the fluid return tool in the drain basin. According to a further step, the delivery face of the nozzle device is moved across a surface of the HVAC coil unit to deliver the cleaning solution into areas between fins thereof.

There is provided a system and method of cleaning surfaces of an enclosable environment of a contamination comprising a microbial and viral load. The method includes the steps of sealing the enclosable environment and placing water, and a solid or gel pack, into a container and generating a vortex the container by rotating an impeller. The agitation causes the solid or gel pack to release a gaseous cleaning agent. An air-borne spray exiting from the container spreads throughout the enclosable environment to contact the surfaces to be cleaned within the enclosable environment. The enclosable environment is maintained closed for an effective time period while the air-borne spray dwells on the surfaces to eliminate or substantially reduce the load of the contamination.

A device cleans a core engine of a jet engine. The device has: a nozzle installation which is configured for introducing a cleaning medium into the core engine; a connector configured to connect the device in a rotationally fixed manner to a shaft of a fan of the jet engine; and a line connection configured to supply the cleaning medium, which is connected to the nozzle installation by a rotary coupling. The nozzle installation comprises nozzles, comprising at least one flat jet nozzle, and at least one full cone nozzle or hollow cone nozzle.

A device cleans a core engine of a jet engine. The device has: a nozzle installation which is configured for introducing a cleaning medium into the core engine; a connector configured to connect the device in a rotationally fixed manner to a shaft of a fan of the jet engine; and a line connection configured to supply the cleaning medium, which is connected to the nozzle installation by a rotary coupling. The nozzle installation comprises nozzles, comprising at least one flat jet nozzle, and at least one full cone nozzle or hollow cone nozzle.

A valve which comprises a body (1), a closing member (2) movable in a space (11) between walls (9, 10) of the body transversely in relation to a flow passageway (3) provided through the body between at least two positions, a first position in which the flow passageway (3) is closed, and a second position in which the flow passageway is open, and an actuator (4) for moving the closing member (2) linearly between said at least two positions, which body (1) further comprises an edge part (12, 34). The valve comprises a cleaning arrangement in which an aperture (35, 36) for conducting a medium is arranged in the valve body (1), in a part of the body (1) located on the side of the closing member (2) actuator (4), and is configured to spray a cleaning medium into a part of the space located between walls (9, 10, 12, 34) of the space (11) and the closing member (2). The invention also relates to a method.

A valve which comprises a body (1), a closing member (2) movable in a space (11) between walls (9, 10) of the body transversely in relation to a flow passageway (3) provided through the body between at least two positions, a first position in which the flow passageway (3) is closed, and a second position in which the flow passageway is open, and an actuator (4) for moving the closing member (2) linearly between said at least two positions, which body (1) further comprises an edge part (12, 34). A pool chemical injector includes a chamber to hold a volume of a chemical therein, the chamber having a body with a tapered end; an opening to allow for insertion of the chemical into the chamber; an elongated tube to attach to the tapered end of the body; a valve engaged with the tube and to open and close chemical flow through the elongated tube; and an attachment to secure to an end of the elongated tube through which the chemical flows; the elongated tube and attachment deliver the chemical to a floor of the pool.
