Motor control of a drain cleaning machine
A drain cleaning machine includes a brushless direct current (DC) motor configured to rotate a snake about the snake axis. An electronic processor is configured to control power switching elements to drive the brushless DC motor. In a first operating range when a load experienced by the brushless DC motor is less than or equal to a predetermined load, the electronic processor is configured to control the power switching elements to drive the brushless DC motor at an approximately constant speed regardless of the load experienced by the brushless DC motor. In a second operating range when the load experienced by the brushless DC motor is greater than the predetermined load, the electronic processor is configured to control the power switching elements to drive the brushless DC motor at a decreasing speed as the load experienced by the brushless DC motor increases.
Hub Cleaning Device for Medical Connectors and Method of Use
A cleaning device is configured access and remove fluid from and dry a moat region defined by a hub of a medical connector, thereby minimizing the potential for bacterial growth in the hub. The cleaning device takes the form of an absorbent block which can be inserted into the moat by extending about a central male fitting and into a gap between the male fitting and the inner wall of a female hub of the medical connector. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the block takes the form of a tubular cylinder particularly configured for use on ENFit medical connectors wherein the absorptive feature of the cleaning device can be employed alone or in combination with another cleaning tool used to first remove any existing dried and caked solution in the hub before removing residual cleaning fluid from the moat.
CLEANING FIXTURE FOR SHOWERHEAD ASSEMBLIES
Cleaning fixtures for cleaning a showerhead assembly are disclosure. The cleaning fixtures include: a fixture body incorporating three or more cavities, each cavity being separate from an adjacent cavity by a partition, and a number of channels associated with each cavity for fluidly connecting the cavities with an upper surface of the fixture body.
Pipe de-burring assembly
A pipe de-burring assembly for de-burring a pipe and a pipe fitting includes a cylinder that has a pair of wells each extending therein to insertably receive a respective one of a pipe and a pipe fitting. A shaft extends lengthwise through the cylinder and the shaft is rotatably coupled to a power tool to rotate the cylinder. A plurality of first bristles is each of the first bristles is coupled to the shaft and each of the first bristles frictionally engages an inside surface of the pipe fitting for de-burring the inside surface of the pipe fitting. A plurality of second bristles is each coupled to the cylinder and each of the second bristles frictionally engages an outside surface of the pipe to de-burr the outside surface of the pipe.
Heat exchanger integrated services
An apparatus for cleaning heat exchangers may include a cleaning lance for cleaning a plurality of bores of the heat exchanger and an examination lance for examining a plurality of bores of the heat exchanger. The apparatus may further include a first feeder configured to extend and retract the cleaning lance and a second feeder configured to extend and retract the examination lance. The apparatus may further include a controller configured to control the first feeder to feed the cleaning lance into a first bore, to control the cleaning lance to clean the first bore, and to control the first feeder to retract the cleaning lance from the first bore.
UNIVERSAL PIPE FITTING WITH CLEANING
A pipe fitting having a first end portion, a second end portion and a perforated portion extending between the first end portion and the second end portion. The perforated portion has an inner side wall and outer wall spaced from the inner side wall. A fluid receiving cavity extends between the inner side wall and the outer wall. The inner side wall defines a material flow passageway. Openings are provided in the inner side wall of the perforated portion. The openings have ends which open into the fluid receiving cavity. A port extends through the outer wall and into the fluid receiving cavity. In operation, fluid enters the port and flows through the fluid receiving cavity and through the openings into the material flow passageway to clear any material restrictions.
Cleaning bell for pipes
A cleaning bell (1) for removing scraps from tubular pipes for the transport or distribution of fluids, comprises a bell-shaped body (2) having a head end (5) provided with a through passage (6) for slidable insertion of an operating rod (7) carrying cleaning accessories (10); advantageously, said cleaning bell (1) comprises a pneumatic cylinder (12) fixed to said head end (5) and adapted to be attached to said operating rod (7) to oppose the force of ejection of said operating rod (7) from the bell-shaped body (2) caused by an internal overpressure.
Automatic analyzer and cleaning method
The invention provides a highly reliable automatic analyzer and dispenser probe cleaning method that allows for the removal of leftover cleaning water from the outer wall surfaces of a probe without increasing the size of a cleaning bath and contaminating the outer wall surfaces of the probe. A cleaning bath 113 (108, 106) comprises: a cleaning water outlet 203 for discharging into the cleaning bath 113 (108, 116) the cleaning water supplied from a cleaning water supply mechanism 123; and a compressed air outlet 204, disposed on the trajectory of the cleaning water discharged from the cleaning water outlet 203, for discharging the compressed air supplied from a compressed air supply mechanism 124 toward a sample probe 111b or a reagent probe 120 inserted in the cleaning bath 113 (108, 106).
Roller-type wheel flange surface powder removing device
The present invention discloses a roller-type wheel flange surface powder removing device, that includes a corresponding roller brush that is replaced according to the size of a wheel to be processed. A manipulator places the wheel at corresponding positions of limit discs, output ends of cylinders extend to drive pressure blocks to press the wheel, and a sliding seat and a mechanism thereon reciprocate along with a rack within the travel range of guide pillars. While a second motor starts working, a first motor drives a second gear to rotate, and a first gear transmits the rotation speed to the roller brush through a support shaft according to a certain transmission ratio. The roller brush is driven by a third gear 23 and a rack 24 while rotating with the support shaft. The roller brush reciprocates to clean the surface of the wheel.
Method And Device For Stripping A Material Residue From A Metering Nozzle
The invention relates to a method for stripping a material residue from a metering nozzle, wherein the metering nozzle with the material residue is guided past a stripping element such that the material residue comes into contact with the stripping element and is stripped from the metering nozzle, characterized in that the stripping element performs a closed rotational movement by means of which a segment of the stripping element first of all reaches a stripping position, in which the material residue is stripped from the metering nozzle and at least some of the material residue remains adhering on the segment, is then guided with the material residue adhering thereon to a separating position, in which a separating unit is used to separate the material residue from the segment of the stripping element, and is guided back to the stripping position to receive a further material residue. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a device for stripping the material residue.
