pH DEPENDENT SOLUBLE POLYMERS
An embodiment provides a device for cleaning a sleeve of an ultraviolet light source, including: the ultraviolet light source for the disinfection of a fluid, wherein the sleeve surrounds the ultraviolet light source; a cleaning composition encapsulated in a polymer material to form a compound; a canister around and in contact with the sleeve and encapsulating the compound against the sleeve thereby placing the compound in a location adjacent to the sleeve, wherein the polymer material dissolves at a pH above a target value above the polymer material dissolution point releases the cleaning composition. Other aspects are described and claimed.
Skimming apparatus
A skimming apparatus with a pivot arm and a drive follower on the pivot arm that guides a belting to facilitate precise placement of the belting for efficient skimming.
Sucker Rod Wiping Tool
Method of cleaning sucker rods using a portable cleaning tool containing a rotating brush assembly to remove scale and corrosion residue on the sucker rods is described herein. The brush is annular with an empty or hollow center, such that the rod can penetrate through the hole in the brush. The tool is powered by air compression, and also contains a mechanism of removing the collected debris for disposal. The cleaning tool assembly could be either a standalone device on site placed on a mounted rack, or could be attached to the rod to be cleaned.
Device for automatically cleaning a handle
A device for cleaning a handle, includes a handle including a gripping surface to be disinfected, an application member for applying a cleaning liquid to the gripping surface, and cleaning liquid supply including at least one reservoir for receiving cleaning liquid and distributing it to the application member. The application member includes at least one buffer reserve arranged in contact with the gripping surface. The device includes a unit for actuating the application member, including a driver configured to move the buffer reserve and/or the gripping surface relatively with respect to one another so as to apply cleaning liquid to substantially the entire gripping surface during this movement.
Biofouling removal tool
Methods, systems, and apparatus for a biofouling removal tool. The tool can include a body having a top surface, a bottom surface, and multiple sections. The tool can also include a plurality of recesses formed in the body. In some implementations, the plurality of recesses include a first set of one or more recesses formed in a first section of the body of the tool and a second set of one or more recesses formed in a second section of the body tool. At least one of the plurality of recesses spans a height of the body. Each of the plurality of recesses is configured to accept an outer surface of a cylindrical object. Each of the plurality of recesses includes one or more edges configured to scrape an outer surface of a cylindrical object.
System and method for cleaning a tube bundle of a heat exchanger core
A system capable of autonomous operation is disclosed for cleaning a tube bundle of a heat exchanger core. The system comprises a lance for directing a jet of fluid into spaces between the tubes of the bundle, a carriage for advancing the lance into the bundle, a mount movable relative to the carriage for holding the lance, and a sensor for detecting relative movement between the lance and the carriage, so as to detect when a reaction force acting on the lance upon encountering an obstruction in the tube bundle exceeds a predetermined limit.
Tube cleaning system and method
A heat exchanger cleaning system is disclosed which is capable of determining the position of a lance within a tube bundle of a heat exchanger core. The system comprises a lance for directing a jet of fluid into spaces between the tubes of the bundle, an arm mounted alongside the lance and movable relative thereto, an abutment mounted to an end of the arm to sense an outer surface of the heat exchanger core, and a transducer for measuring the position of the lance relative to the arm to determine the extent of travel of the tip of the lance beyond the front face of the tube bundle.
Tube cleaning robot
A robot is disclosed for cleaning the exterior of tubes of a heat exchanger. The robot comprises a lance for directing a jet of fluid into spaces between the tubes, a carriage for transporting the lance in a direction of travel parallel to axes of the tubes of the heat exchanger, and traction assemblies for engaging the tubes to enable the carriage to be advanced along the tubes, wherein the traction assemblies are each moveable relative to the carriage in a direction transverse to that of travel in order to change the track width of the robot.
DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY CLEANING A HANDLE
A device for cleaning a handle, including a handle including a gripping surface to be disinfected, an application member for applying a cleaning liquid to the gripping surface, and cleaning liquid supply element including at least one reservoir for receiving cleaning liquid and distributing it to the application member. The application member includes at least one buffer reserve arranged in contact with the gripping surface. The device includes a unit for actuating the application member, including drive element configured to move the buffer reserve and/or the gripping surface relatively with respect to one another so as to apply cleaning liquid to substantially the entire gripping surface during this movement.
Faucet cleaning system
A faucet cleaning system provides a water dissolvable applicator formed from a thin sheet material which is stretchable and shaped to define a sleeve configured to encapsulate a faucet head. A cleaning agent is contained within the applicator via a water dissolvable film and is configured to release upon contact with moisture on the faucet head.
