A food waste disposer comprising a chamber for accommodating food for disposal; a deodorization device for deodorizing gas and discharging same to the outside; and a cover member for covering the chamber. The cover member includes a fan, which is arranged to face the inside of the chamber so as to generate, when being driven, a convection current inside the chamber; and a discharge pipe arranged such that a discharge port formed at a first end portion is arranged on outside a path of upward flow of air such that the upward flow of air bypasses the fan, and a second end portion, which is opposite to the first end portion, is connected to the deodorization device.
OPTICAL FILTER MODULE AND FOOD WASTE DISPOSAL APPARATUS COMPRISING SAME
A food waste disposal apparatus, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises: a chamber for accommodating food waste; and a deodorizing device for deodorizing gas inside the chamber. The deodorizing device may comprise: a photocatalyst filter arranged to be inclined; a light source unit for irradiating light having a frequency within a specific range to the photocatalyst filter; and an activated carbon filter in which activated carbon is accommodated so as to deodorize gas passing through the photocatalyst filter.
Method of cleaning an organics stream during recycling
A method for processing organics includes the introduction of mixed organic and inorganic material into a separator and reducing the material into large and small fragments of inorganic material and a recovered organic stream. Removing a portion of the large fragments of inorganic material from the separator. Transporting the recovered organic stream to a de-pulping machine and processing the recovered organic stream in the de-pulping machine. Removing at least a portion of the small fragments of inorganic material providing a de-pulped organic stream. Depositing the de-pulped organic stream into a de-pulped organics container where the de-pulped organic stream may be post processed into recycled material.

Embodiments disclosed herein provide an organic matter processing apparatus and method for the use thereof to convert organic matter into a ground and desiccated product. This can be accomplished using a bucket assembly that can grind, paddle, and heat organic matter contained therein. An air treatment system is provided to treat the air interacting with the organic matter.
PRETREATMENT OF ORGANIC WASTE FOR LACTIC ACID PRODUCTION EMPLOYING COMPOSITIONS OF BACILLUS COAGULANS SPORES
Methods and systems for pretreatment of organic waste prior to large-scale production of lactic acid from the organic waste are provided, which employ dried or partially-dried compositions of Bacillus coagulans spores. The methods and systems advantageously provide partial conversion of the organic waste to L-lactic acid already at the pretreatment stage, thereby producing an improved feedstock material for large-scale production of L-lactic acid.
SLUDGE AND KITCHEN WASTE COLLABORATIVE DIGESTION PROCESS COUPLED WITH INTERMEDIATE THERMAL HYDROLYSIS
The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of sludge treatment, and discloses a sludge and kitchen waste collaborative digestion process coupled with intermediate thermal hydrolysis. The collaborative digestion process includes: 1) screening and slurrying kitchen waste, and desanding and deslagging primary sludge; 2) mixing the kitchen waste and the primary sludge, and carrying out first-stage collaborative anaerobic digestion on the mixture; 3) mixing the first-stage collaborative anaerobic digestion product with residual activated sludge, and carrying out centrifugal dehydration; 4) carrying out thermal hydrolysis on the dehydrated sludge cake; 5) desanding the thermally-hydrolyzed sludge; 6) diluting the desanded thermally-hydrolyzed sludge followed by heat exchange; 7) carrying out second-stage anaerobic digestion; 8) carrying out plate-frame dehydration; 9) carrying out anaerobic ammonia oxidation on the filtrates; and 10) compounding sludge cake nutrients to produce organic nutrient soil. In the present disclosure, good complementarity of sludge and kitchen waste in terms of material properties is fully utilized, configuration of thermal hydrolysis is optimized, generation of non-degradable substances is reduced, and investment on thermal hydrolysis is reduced. A biogas yield and a biogas output are improved, and energy self-sufficiency of a sewage treatment plant is realized on the basis of a centralized treatment method of regional organic solid waste.
ENGINEERED MICROBES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BIOPOLYMERS FROM OHD-DERIVED ORGANIC CARBON
This disclosure generally relates to engineered recombinant bacterial cells producing enzymatic compositions for up-cycling plastics, biomass waste, or co-mixtures of plastics and biomass waste. The disclosure also relates to dual enzyme compositions produced by the recombinant bacterial cells for upcycling plastic materials and/or biomass waste, and methods for upcycling plastics, OHD-treated substrates and/or biomass waste.
INTELLIGENT SENSOR-DRIVEN PROCESSING OF ORGANIC MATTER FOR THE SMART HOME
Embodiments disclosed herein provide an organic matter processing apparatus and method for the use thereof to convert organic matter into a ground and desiccated product. This can be accomplished using a bucket assembly that can grind, paddle, and heat organic matter contained therein. An algorithm is used to control the conversion of organic input to organic output by progressing through processing states based, in part, on time windows, runtimes, and sensor inputs.
