METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING WASTE MATERIAL
A self-contained material separator system utilizing a vacuum and blower system, a separator assembly, and a collection assembly to separate and process waste material generated from material handling and processing devices. The material separator may further be self-contained and portable to provide flexibility in the use and deployment thereof.
NANOCELLULOSE AND RESIN MAKE DOWN PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS
Methods and systems for producing nanocellulose-adhesive resin compositions for the manufacture of wood-based panels, and methods of using said adhesive resin compositions.
HIGH-CARBON RECOVERED PAPER AND PLASTIC MATERIALS WITH REDUCED ENDOTOXIN LEVELS
Provided herein are composite materials comprising at least 70 wt. % thermally consolidated recovered paper and plastic fragments and less than 5,000 ng water-soluble endotoxin per gram of composite materials, as well as methods of preparing said composite materials and methods of sanitizing recovered waste materials.

DISSOLVABLE THREAD AND ARTICLE CONTAINING SAME
A recyclable thread or yarn having a dissolvable fiber and an insoluble fiber is provided and incorporated into a woven article, garment or textile. The dissolvable fiber and the insoluble fiber are twisted to form the thread or yarn. The dissolvable fiber may be a synthetic water soluble polymer and may dissolve in water at between 60° C. and 100° C. The insoluble fiber may be cotton such as extra-long staple (ELS) cotton or Supima cotton. A process for recycling a woven article, garment or textile made with the recyclable thread or yarn is also provided. The process for recycling a woven article, garment or textile made with the recyclable thread or yarn includes subjecting the woven article, garment or textile in water to a condition to cause said dissolvable fiber to lose long range order to form a slurry or solution.
Insect-based biowaste processing apparatus
Continuous insect-based biowaste processing apparatus has a tubular drum; a drive for rotatably driving the drum; a shaftless screw conveyor fixedly connected to an inner surface of the drum; circumferentially spaced cantilevered blades that (a) are connected to the inner drum surface and (b) each longitudinally extends throughout the drum; and a mechanism for introducing a conglomerate portion that includes biowaste and insect larvae into the drum interior. The screw conveyor is subdivided into longitudinally spaced chambers for the introduced insect larvae, each of the chambers being defined by two adjacent flights of the screw conveyor and by the blades. The size of the insect larvae progressively increases within a more distally located rearing chamber. Two or more blades firmly hold and unify the conglomerate portion throughout its residing time within the drum interior while being distally conveyed.
METHOD FOR DECOMPOSING PLANT MATTER
The present disclosure provides a method for accelerating decomposition of an organic or plant matter comprising contacting the organic or the plant matter with an effective amount of soluble yeast cell wall derivatives as an active ingredient for degrading the organic or plant matter to produce a decomposition product.
METHOD FOR SANITIZING WASTE
The present invention relates to a method for sanitizing waste, where waste having specific bacterial counts are subjected to an enzyme composition at a pH between 30 and 6.0 and at a temperature of between 40 C. and 60 C., the liquid is separated and the waste is subjected to the enzyme composition for a period of 10 to 30 hours to obtain at least partial reduction in bacterial count.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING OF MIXED SOLID WASTE TO RECOVER RECYCLABLE MATERIALS
A system for recovering recyclable materials from mixed waste is provided. The system processes existing municipal solid waste collections to recover recyclable materials from the waste. The system uses various separation processes sequenced with a rotating, horizontal constant-flow steam based waste processing vessel to efficiently separate high value materials such as metals and rigid plastics while additionally separating low value plastics and post-consumer commodities. The system reduces landfill load and operational costs while simultaneously providing the reduction of carbon emissions achieved with recycling post-consumer commodities.
METHOD TO ENABLE RECYCLING OF A PANEL
The present invention pertains to a method to enable recycling of a panel comprising as a core structural component a polysaccharide fibre based plate at least one side of which is covered with a layer of a non water soluble adhesive, the method comprising immersing the panel in an aqueous liquid at least until the polysaccharide fibre based plate has absorbed an amount of liquid that leads to detachment of the adhesive from the polysaccharide fibres and at least partial detachment of neighbouring polysaccharide fibres from each other, resulting in a mixture of at least partially individualised polysaccharide fibres and separate adhesive, and thereafter removing the adhesive from the mixture.
