The present invention addresses the problem of providing a flame treatment device which is capable of performing a flame treatment on a metal-based base material without requiring a preheat treatment. For the purpose of solving the above-described problem, a flame treatment device according to the present invention comprises: a first temperature measurement unit which measures the temperature of a metal-based base material before a flame treatment; a control unit which determines the combustion energy of flame on the basis of the temperature before a flame treatment, said temperature having been measured by the first temperature measurement unit, so that the surface temperature of the metal-based base material during the flame treatment is 56° C. or higher; and a flame treatment unit which performs a flame treatment on the metal-based base material on the basis of the combustion energy, which has been determined by the control unit.

The present cooling device includes: when cooling regions obtained by dividing an entire cooling region into a plurality of portions in a steel sheet conveyance direction and three or more portions in a width direction are set as divided cooling surfaces, a cooling water nozzle 23 and a switching device that switches between collision and non-collision of cooling water jetted from the cooling water nozzle 23 with the divided cooling surface, the cooling water nozzle 23 and the switching device provided for each of the divided cooling surfaces; and a control device that controls operation of the switching device based on a width-direction temperature distribution. The cooling water nozzle 23 has a jet axis P inclined with respect to a vertical line to the entire cooling region when viewed in the steel sheet conveyance direction, and the cooling water goes to the side opposite to the cooling water nozzle 23 in the width direction after colliding with the divided cooling surface.

Method of steel sheet surface treatment and apparatus of the same
The present invention relates to a method of steel sheet surface treatment, wherein, the method comprises sequentially: a strip surface treatment unit (1) configured with a high pressure spraying device (1-1) or a centrifugal ejecting device (1-2), a strip surface rinsing unit (2), and a strip surface dry unit (3). Either or both of the high pressure spraying devices (1-1) and the centrifugal ejecting devices (1-2) are arranged, and spray onto the strip surfaces with a mixture of solid abrasives and water, i.e., slurry. Additionally, the method of steel sheet surface treatment comprises: a slurry supplying unit (4) and an abrasive recycling unit (5). When the method of the present invention is applied into the strip post processing line, it can control the surface roughness of the steel sheet, while clearing away grease, scales and some contaminations thereon, through impacting the mixture of water and solid particles with a certain ratio onto the surfaces of the strip steel. When the method of the present invention is applied into the finishing processing line, it can control the surface roughness of the steel sheet, while adjusting the mechanical properties of the strip, thereby completely or partially replacing the skin pass process.

A method for producing a steel tube include the manufacturing of a steel tube having an inner tube wall, an outer tube wall (3), and a free tube cross-section enclosed by the inner tube wall. After the manufacturing, the steel tube includes at least one contaminant on the outer tube wall and entails, after the manufacturing of the steel tube, cleaning of the outer tube wall by applying liquid or solid CO.sub.2 onto the outer tube wall in order to remove a contaminant from the outer tube wall.

A cooling group for a laminar cooling device, including at least one cooling unit arranged above and below a strip to be cooled in order to supply the strip with a cooling liquid, including a central inlet via which cooling liquid is supplied, a distributing tube supplied with cooling liquid by the central inlet, and a number of supplying units supplied with cooling liquid from the distributing tube. Each supplying unit has a number of cooling nozzles via which cooling liquid is discharged onto the strip. In order to minimize the influence of the number of supplying units which are switched on or switched off, and thus have as little expenditure as possible, a volumetric flow rate regulating valve is arranged in or in front of the central inlet. The regulating valve is used to conduct a defined volume of cooling liquid through the central inlet per unit of time.
Systems and methods for quenching a metal strip after rolling
Systems and methods of quenching a metal substrate include cooling a top surface and a bottom surface of the metal substrate until a strip temperature is cooled to an intermediate temperature. Cooling of the top surface of the metal substrate is discontinued when the strip temperature reaches the intermediate temperature, and cooling of the bottom surface of the metal substrate continues until the metal substrate reaches a target temperature, where the target temperature is less than the intermediate temperature.

A treatment device for drying a laminated strip includes: lower and upper crosspieces extending transversely to and on either side of the metal strip, the upper crosspiece embedding an upper pressure cylinder with supporting rollers, the lower crosspiece embedding a lower pressure cylinder with the supporting rollers, the actuator and guide enabling the crosspieces to pass from a retracted idle position to a close working position, for which the lower and upper pressure cylinders, arranged on either side of the strip, transversely to the direction of travel, are each intended to be pressure-applied on the strip by the supporting rollers distributed along the length of the pressure cylinder, and along at least two rotating axes parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pressure cylinder. A first compartment supports all the supporting rollers. A second compartment supports the pressure cylinder. Each compartment is a removable element of the crosspiece.
