Coiled material transporting device, press system and coiled material transporting method
A coiled material transporting device is disposed between a coiled material supply device supplying a coiled material, and a press device pressing the coiled material supplied from the coiled material supply device. The coiled material supply device includes a support, a first driver, and a transporter. The support is extendable and retractable along a direction of a die disposed in the press device. The support is configured to support from below a terminal end of the coiled material supplied from the coiled material supply device. The first driver is configured to cause the support to extend and retract. The transporter is provided to the support and is configured to transport the terminal end of the coiled material toward the die disposed in the press device.
UNREELING APPARATUS AND METHOD
In order to increase the operational safety of an unreeling apparatus and an unreeling method at high working speed, an unreeling apparatus for unreeling a ring of wire along a pull-off direction, having at least two reel crowns, which can each be brought into a pull-off position and into a preparation position and/or loading position by way of a displacement device, includes a safety apparatus having an overload safety device and having a safety guide track, which has a directional component that faces in the pull-off direction and acts independently of the other reel crown, at least for the reel crown situated in the pull-off position, wherein the overload safety device holds the reel crown situated in the pull-off position in the pull-off position and, in the event of an overload, releases the reel crown situated in the pull-off position into the safety guide track.
COIL VIBRATION SYSTEM
A system is disclosed for vibrating a coil carried on a pallet, with the pallet being supported on and movable along a conveyor. The system includes an elevator mechanism for lifting and supporting the pallet in a raised position spaced above the conveyor. Vibration motors serve to vibrate the elevator mechanism, thereby also serving to vibrate the raised pallet and the coil carried thereon.
COIL VIBRATION SYSTEM
A system is disclosed for vibrating a coil carried on a pallet, with the pallet being supported on and movable along a conveyor. The system includes an elevator mechanism for lifting and supporting the pallet in a raised position spaced above the conveyor. Vibration motors serve to vibrate the elevator mechanism, thereby also serving to vibrate the raised pallet and the coil carried thereon.
TRANSPORT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING A COIL
A transport device (2, 50, 56, 88) for transporting a coil (4), comprising a coil transport cart (6) having a chassis (8) and having a coil support (10), which is height-adjustable relative to the chassis (8). In order to enable secure transport of the coil (4), the transport device (2, 50, 56, 88) has a movable fastening device (12) having a clamping unit (22) for pressing the coil (4) to be transported against the coil support (10). The clamping unit (22) being height-adjustable relative to the coil support (10) and being able to be at least partly inserted into a coil eye (42) of the coil (4). The fastening device (12) being fastened to the coil support (10) or to the chassis (8) of the coil transport cart (6). The coil support (10) having a cut-out (40), into which the clamping unit (22) can be at least partly lowered. Further disclosed is a use of such a transport device (2, 50, 56, 88), to a coil-processing system (70, 118) having such a transport device (2, 50, 56, 88), and to a method for transporting a coil (4).
TRANSPORT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING A COIL
A transport device (2, 50, 56, 88) for transporting a coil (4), comprising a coil transport cart (6) having a chassis (8) and having a coil support (10), which is height-adjustable relative to the chassis (8). In order to enable secure transport of the coil (4), the transport device (2, 50, 56, 88) has a movable fastening device (12) having a clamping unit (22) for pressing the coil (4) to be transported against the coil support (10). The clamping unit (22) being height-adjustable relative to the coil support (10) and being able to be at least partly inserted into a coil eye (42) of the coil (4). The fastening device (12) being fastened to the coil support (10) or to the chassis (8) of the coil transport cart (6). The coil support (10) having a cut-out (40), into which the clamping unit (22) can be at least partly lowered. Further disclosed is a use of such a transport device (2, 50, 56, 88), to a coil-processing system (70, 118) having such a transport device (2, 50, 56, 88), and to a method for transporting a coil (4).
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING STRIP END
The invention relates to a device for processing an end of a strip, in particular a metal strip (2), wound up into a coil (1), in particular for sampling and/or for inspection of the strip, with a winding device for unwinding the end of the strip. This device is characterized in that the winding device is formed as a coiler (9) with one or more rotatable coiler drums (10) for receiving the coil (1) and in that the coiler (9) is arranged on a transporting system (11), with which the coiler (9), and the coil (1) arranged on it, can be moved between various processing stations (3, 5, 6).
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING STRIP END
The invention relates to a device for processing an end of a strip, in particular a metal strip (2), wound up into a coil (1), in particular for sampling and/or for inspection of the strip, with a winding device for unwinding the end of the strip. This device is characterized in that the winding device is formed as a coiler (9) with one or more rotatable coiler drums (10) for receiving the coil (1) and in that the coiler (9) is arranged on a transporting system (11), with which the coiler (9), and the coil (1) arranged on it, can be moved between various processing stations (3, 5, 6).
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FEEDING AN ELONGATE WORKPIECE TO A FORMING MACHINE
A method of feeding an elongate workpiece to a forming machine includes: providing first and second feed units, wherein each of the feed units has a receiving device that receives a workpiece stock in a coil, and a straightening device downstream of the receiving device that straightens the workpiece before it enters the forming machine, wherein the first and second feed units are arranged on a common platform movable between first and second working positions, wherein, in the first working position of the platform, the first feed unit is arranged in a working position suitable for transferring workpiece portions to the forming machine, and the second feed unit is arranged in a setting-up position, and, in the second working position of the platform, the second feed unit is arranged in the working position and the first feed unit in a setting-up position.
