Device and method for straightening pressing of a flat metal product
A horizontal roll stand includes upper and lower back-up rolls, removable work rolls, a balancing device for supporting the upper work roll, and a vertical adjustment device for the lower back-up roll. The work rolls are removed and a press device for straightening pressing of a flat metal product is inserted into the roll stand. The press device includes opposing upper and lower press frames that are displaceable relative to each other. The upper press frame and the lower press frame have one of a selectively moveable pressing die or opposing selectively moveable table with a trough for immersion of the pressing die to selectively press and flatten defects in the flat metal product. The upper press frame includes carrier elements which contact a balancing device of and for support within the roll stand. The lower press frame has support elements for being supported on stanchions of the roll stand.
Method for flame straightening and burner assembly for this purpose
A method for flame straightening is disclosed, wherein acetylene with oxygen is combusted by means of a burner to yield a flame, and the flame is directed onto a workpiece so as to heat the workpiece, wherein an electric field is applied between the burner and the non-melting workpiece which is electrically conductive, or the electric field is applied between the burner and a non-melting electrode arranged on the non-melting workpiece side to reduce NOx emission.

DENT PULLER WITH OPPOSED LEVER AND GRIPPING SURFACE
A dent puller tool comprises a base for supporting the tool on a working surface, the base having a first bore defined therein. A grip body is provided in cooperative associating with the base and defining a gripping surface and a second bore extending therethrough. A puller shaft is disposed in the first and second bores and substantially parallel to the gripping surface. A lever is cooperatively associated with the puller shaft and pivotably mounted relative to the grip body such that the gripping surface and the lever extend along opposite sides of the puller shaft. Configured in this manner, the disclosed tool helps avoid undesirable bending of the user's wrist when in use.

PAINTLESS DENT REMOVAL TOOL, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A paintless dent repair glue tab tool, system and method. The paintless dent repair glue tab tool, includes a pull member detachably connected to a support member. The pull member having a top, a threaded neck, and a bottom. The support member having a thick rigid center having an opening extending at least partially therethrough and a thin semi-flexible outer edge extending around the thick rigid center. The opening having a threaded metal insert molded therein and configured to receive a portion of the threaded neck of the pull member. The diameter of the pull member and the diameter of the support member transfer lifting power to a center portion of the paintless dent repair glue tab tool so as to pull up the dent at a peak thereby more efficiently removing dents from the surface of a vehicle.

Dent Removal Method and Apparatus
The dent removal assembly of the present application is configured to apply a gradual distributed pressure to a hardened material for the purpose of removing dents. The assembly is operable with any vehicle or other tool or panel where a dent may be present. The assembly is configured to regulate the flow of air into and out of the assembly in a controlled manner to cause a desired effect. Air is selectively inserted into an airbag to expand. The expansion presses against a dent and uniformly applies pressure to the dent so as to push it out to a desired position. The method may include the use of one or more braces or the use of a plurality of stacked airbags side to side.

Versatile slide hammer method and apparatus
The present invention provides a means to achieve enhanced control of repair forces in the automotive body repair industry. In particular, the present invention provides a modified slide hammer and a method to achieve repair through the controlled application of forces otherwise not attainable with existing embodiments. Additionally, the present invention provides an ease of use and versatility of application and mounting at the site of the work in conjunction with and in line with existing devices used in the repair process. The application of the present invention provides increased reliability in the delivery of intended forces at the site of the work. Further, the inherent isolation of repair forces to the intended site of the work by the use of the present invention reduces the likelihood of secondary damage, material waste, or catastrophic failure thereby also enhancing the safety of the operator and the effectivity of repair. Specifically, the present invention may be implemented in conjunction with existing frame pullers in the automotive body repair industry to affect repair while providing facility to avoid obstructions in the path of applied forces.
