Assembly and method for on-site pressing of hydroelectric generator field poles
On-site pressing of field poles for a hydroelectric generator is provided. A field pole may be placed on a press cart and press bars may be placed on top of the field pole. The press cart is moved along a track to transport the field pole to a pressing unit. Hydraulic cylinders in the pressing unit press the field pole and the press bars between the cart and a top plate of the pressing unit to straighten the field pole.

Metallic tubular products having improved collapse resistance are disclosed. The metallic tubular products are produced by compressive forming processes. The method comprises identifying the types of stress that can be applied in order to change the residual stress profile of metallic tubular products, such as those that have completed a straightening process, and results in a residual stress profile that improves collapse resistance. The metallic tubular products are subjected to radial compression processing to control the residual stress profile and to enhance collapse resistance. The radial compression process may be used after the tubular product has been subjected to a straightening process.

An embodiment includes a suspended supporting device for targeted compression treatment of rotating shaft products, including: a containment frame including: a main portion; and an articulating arm including an attachment for at least one targeted compression cartridge, the at least one targeted compression cartridge including at least one angled compression element; a support element attached to the main portion and providing internal stabilization to the supporting device; a mechanism providing motion to the articulating arm with respect to the main portion; and an attachment mechanism for suspending the supporting device via attachment to an external element. Device (1) for calibrating and straightening hollow components, preferably welded pipes (2), the device (1) being substantially composed of a frame (5) having two side stands (6, 7), a lower cross member (8) and an upper cross member (9), a ram (10) being provided, said ram (10) being movable toward the lower cross member (8) and back by means of a pressure-operable cylinder assembly (12) supported on the upper cross member (9), and a calibrating and straightening tool (11a) being provided between the lower cross member (8) and the ram (10), wherein the calibrating and straightening tool (11a) is changeably disposed on the lower cross member (8) and on the ram (10) and can be replaced with a bending tool (11b) for bending the lateral ends (3) of sheets (4) to produce pipes (2).

The present disclosure relates to an adjustment device for adjusting a bending angle of a stand for a display device. The adjustment device includes a base on which a stand useable for a display device is to be seated, a plate including a first plate provided to support the base and a second plate provided to be movable toward the first plate, a block formed to protrude from the second plate toward the first plate, and a crank having a first end formed so that as the first end is pressed by the block moving together with the second plate toward the first plate, a second end of the crank presses an inner surface of the stand in order to adjust an angle of the stand.
