Guitar Bridge Straightening Apparatus and Method
This invention is an apparatus for straightening a guitar bridge or guitar bridge assembly comprising a U-shaped receptacle with a bottom, a first face and a second face; an adjustable drive on the first face that places force on the bridge; and at least two opposing braces on the second face, and wherein the second face is grooved to create a space between the receptacle and the bridge, and wherein the first and second face contain a sight line and the apparatus contains an adjustable drive which is capable of being turned by a hex wrench so that the force of the adjustable drive on one side and the two opposing braces change the shape of the bridge to a desired shape. The invention is also related to a method for straightening a guitar bridge.
Apparatus for correcting bullet cartridge casing neck distortions
An apparatus for correcting an aberration in a bullet casing's neck, the apparatus incorporating a support frame; a collet chuck and collet sleeve combination whose collet chuck presents a circumferential array of jaws having longitudinal ends, wherein the collet chuck further has a throat extending longitudinally from the jaws' longitudinal ends; a bullet ogive centering annular land fixedly attached to or formed wholly with the collet chuck, the bullet ogive centering annular land being positioned at an oppositely longitudinal end of the throat; rotatable mounting conical bearings and bushings which attach the collet chuck and collet sleeve combination to the support frame; and a turn wheel connected operatively to the collet chuck and collet sleeve combination.

Method and apparatus for remedying a non-conforming feature of an aluminum alloy part
The present disclosure is directed to remedying a non-conforming feature of an aluminum alloy part. A method may include identifying a yield strength as a function of temperature for a designation of the aluminum alloy part, determining a stress to be applied to the feature to re-form the non-conforming feature to within a dimensional tolerance, correlating the stress to the identified yield strength to determine a process temperature of the part upon applying the stress to the feature, determining a time duration for applying the stress to the feature at the determined process temperature, and applying the stress to the feature of the part, the feature being restrained to oppose the stress, while heating the feature to the determined process temperature, and maintaining the application of the stress and the heat to the feature for the time duration in order to reform the restrained feature to within the dimensional tolerance.
Assembly and method for on-site pressing of hydroelectric generator field poles
On-site pressing of field poles for a hydroelectric generator is provided. A field pole may be placed on a press cart and press bars may be placed on top of the field pole. The press cart is moved along a track to transport the field pole to a pressing unit. Hydraulic cylinders in the pressing unit press the field pole and the press bars between the cart and a top plate of the pressing unit to straighten the field pole.

Method of correcting bend of joint type-turbine rotor
According to an embodiment, a method of correcting a bend of a joint type-turbine rotor comprises: measuring displacement of a convex portion of the bend at a joined portion of the joint type-turbine rotor or displacement of a surface opposite to the convex portion in a circumferential direction of the joint type-turbine rotor; heating the convex portion; and cooling the joined portion after the step of heating. The steps of heating and cooling are performed during the step of measuring.

Floating block of hub shaping mold and hub shaping mold having same
The present disclosure provides a floating block of a hub shaping mold. The floating block can include: at least one inner support member having a first side and a second side opposite to each other, wherein the first side of the at least one inner support member can include a first arc surface, and at least one first bulge can be arranged on the first arc surface; at least one outer pressing member having a first side and a second side opposite to each other, wherein the first side of the at least one outer pressing member can include a second arc surface matched with the first arc surface, at least one second bulge can be arranged on the second arc surface, and the at least one first bulge and the at least one second bulge can be arranged in a staggered manner.
Apparatus and method for bending coiled tubing
Apparatus for bending a coiled tubing, the apparatus having a head portion for lateral insertion in a side opening in a wall of a well, the head portion defining a bending path for bending the coiled tubing during feeding thereof through the head portion, and the head portion having a coiled tubing straightener for straightening the coiled tubing during feeding. The coiled tubing straightener is retractable so that it can adopt a retracted position, for lateral insertion of the head portion into the side opening of the well wall. The head portion has, when the straightener is in the retracted position, a profile as viewed in the direction of lateral insertion, and the straightener being extendable for operation to straighten the coiled tubing to an extended position at least partly outside of the profile of the head portion.
