SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR JOGGLING CURVED PARTS WITHOUT PART-SPECIFIC DIES
20250121422 · 2025-04-17 · ·

According to at least one embodiment a method for joggling elongate parts curved may include clamping a first vise across a first cross-section of a workpiece immediately outside a first end of a joggle segment of the workpiece and clamping a second vise across a second cross-section immediately outside the second end of the joggle segment. The method may further include actuating relative motion of the vises with respect to each other in a joggling direction to achieve a controlled distance of motion corresponding to a predetermined joggle depth and unloading the vises to obtain a joggled part.

Press brake and bending method using press brake

A press brake includes a first guide rail on one side, a second guide rail on another side, an ATC device and a first measurement portion movable on the first guide rail, and a second measurement portion movable on the second guide rail. The first and second measurement portions measure a bent angle of a workpiece. The second guide rail is different from the first guide rail in their cross-sectional shapes. The first measurement portion includes a main unit having a sensor, and a first coupling portion coupling the main unit with the first guide rail. The second measurement portion includes the main unit, and a second coupling portion different from the first coupling portion coupling the main unit with the second guide rail. The ATC device and the measurement portions can be made coexistent and the main units of the measurement portions can be made identical to each other.

A post protector is disclosed that provides protection for the lower portion of a mailbox post. Protection is provided against string trimmers and edgers and other impacting implements in a landscape environment. A shielded chamber receives latches that allow simple and concealed assembly without the need for fasteners or tools. In one embodiment, the post protector may be stacked for creating a unique visual effect and added protection. In another embodiment, perimeter flanges for pinning to a soil surface are provided. The structure provides an aesthetic complement to downspout protectors having a similar profile.

BENDING METHOD
20250345836 · 2025-11-13 · ·

A bending method includes a series of processes of repeating bending of a workpiece by applying pressure to the workpiece with upper and lower tools attached to upper and lower tables of a press brake from a first process to an N-th process while feeding the workpiece at a predetermined pitch. The series of processes includes: measuring a bending angle of the workpiece at completion of an M-th process; and correcting a table output for applying pressure to the workpiece based on a measurement value of the bending angle of the workpiece as measured and a target value of the bending angle of the workpiece at completion of the M-th process. In a case where the table output is corrected, the bending is restarted from a previous process which is the M-th process or a process before the M-th process based on the corrected table output.

ROLLER OFFSET FORMING TOOL AND METHOD OF MITIGATING DISTORTION IN A METAL SHEET

A roller offset forming tool includes a first roller configured to rotate in a first direction against a metal sheet. The first roller includes a first bead having a first shape. The tool includes a second roller disposed opposite and configured to engage with the first roller. The second roller is configured to rotate in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction against the metal sheet to thereby deform the metal sheet and form an offset feature therein. The second roller includes a secondary bead having a second geometry. The first bead is configured to align and mate with the secondary bead thereby hold the metal sheet between the first and second rollers. The first shape and the second geometry are configured to mitigate a distortion of the metal sheet in an area apart from the offset feature and stiffen the metal sheet at the offset feature.
