Bending press and bending method
The invention relates to a bending press (18) for carrying out a forming operation on a workpiece (1), comprising a first clamping beam (27), which has a first clamping jaw (2) with a first forming edge (5), and an adjustable second clamping beam (28), which has a second clamping jaw (3) with a second forming edge (6), and also at least one bending beam (7, 38), which is adjustable in relation to the machine frame (19) along a bending beam guide (33) and has at least one bending edge (8, 39), the path of movement (12) of which passes by the forming edges (5, 6) at a distance (10) and with which a portion (4) of the workpiece (1) can be angled away in relation to the part of the workpiece (1) that is clamped between the clamping jaws (2, 3). In this case, the bending beam guide (33) is designed as a linear guide (34) and produces a straight path of movement (12) of the bending edge (8, 39), and the forming edges (5, 6) of the two clamping jaws (2, 3) can be made to approach the path of movement (12) of the bending edge (8) by means of a transverse guide (40) and an adjusting drive (41).
Combined device for bending and cutting ribbon-shaped elements and method for bending and cutting ribbon-shaped elements through such device
A combined device for bending and cutting ribbon-shaped elements is described, comprising first guiding and supporting means (1, 101) adapted to allow positioning a ribbon-shaped element (T, T1), second guiding and supporting means (3, 103) adapted to prevent the rotation of the ribbon-shaped element (T, T1) with respect to an axis belonging to a plane on which the ribbon-shaped element (T, T1) rests, first translating means (41, 1041) and rotation means (4, 104) adapted to move a tool (5, 105) with respect to the second guiding and supporting means (3, 103); the second guiding and supporting means (3, 103) comprise a portion of bending profile (8, 108) adapted to bend the ribbon-shaped element (T, T1) and a portion of cutting profile (9, 109) adapted to cut the ribbon-shaped element (T, T1). A method is further described for bending and cutting ribbon-shaped elements performed through such device.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING PRESSED COMPONENT
To produce an L-shaped pressed component without causing occurrence of wrinkles or cracks through first to third steps: the first step where a portion of a blank 8, having tensile strength of 1180 MPa or more, to be formed into a portion disposed outward of a curved portion is held in a state of being clamped by a blank holder 73 and a die 71, and a portion of the blank 8 to be formed into a top plate 11 is held in a state of being clamped by a pad 74 and a punch 72; the second step where a vertical wall 14, a concave ridge 17 and a flange 15 on the inner side of a curved portion 1a are formed by bend forming with a bending die 75, thus forming one, two or more material inflow promoting portion, which increases an inflow amount of the blank 8 flowing into a portion to be formed into the flange 15 on the inner side of the curved portion 1a, in the vicinity of a portion of the blank 8 to be formed into the flange 15 on the inner side of the curved portion 1a of the pressed component 1; and the third step where the die 71 is moved in a direction toward a side where the blank holder 73 is disposed so as to form a vertical wall 12, a concave ridge 16, and a flange 13 on the outer side of the curved portion 1a by draw forming.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING PRESSED COMPONENT
To produce an L-shaped pressed component without causing occurrence of wrinkles or cracks through first to third steps: the first step where a portion of a blank 8, having tensile strength of 1180 MPa or more, to be formed into a portion disposed outward of a curved portion is held in a state of being clamped by a blank holder 73 and a die 71, and a portion of the blank 8 to be formed into a top plate 11 is held in a state of being clamped by a pad 74 and a punch 72; the second step where a vertical wall 14, a concave ridge 17 and a flange 15 on the inner side of a curved portion 1a are formed by bend forming with a bending die 75, thus forming one, two or more material inflow promoting portion, which increases an inflow amount of the blank 8 flowing into a portion to be formed into the flange 15 on the inner side of the curved portion 1a, in the vicinity of a portion of the blank 8 to be formed into the flange 15 on the inner side of the curved portion 1a of the pressed component 1; and the third step where the die 71 is moved in a direction toward a side where the blank holder 73 is disposed so as to form a vertical wall 12, a concave ridge 16, and a flange 13 on the outer side of the curved portion 1a by draw forming.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING TRIM STRIPS AND TRIM STRIPS PRODUCED USING SAID METHOD
A method for producing a trim strip comprising an extended portion (20) and a bent portion (19) which has a sharp edge (21) comprising the following steps: i) providing a blank with a material thickness and a shaped end cap contour (27); ii) bending the cap contour (27); iii) forming a sharp edge (21) along the bent portion (19), wherein a punch (31) for the edge-forming process, comprising a side surface (33, 37) which is stepped so as to correspond substantially to the material thickness and which faces the die (30) and counter die (32), is guided along the side surfaces (52, 35) of the counter die (32) and die (30) such that the step (34) of the punch (31) engages with the marginal edge (56) and displaces the material of the folded portion (19) towards the edge portion (21), thereby forming a sharp edge.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING TRIM STRIPS AND TRIM STRIPS PRODUCED USING SAID METHOD
A method for producing a trim strip comprising an extended portion (20) and a bent portion (19) which has a sharp edge (21) comprising the following steps: i) providing a blank with a material thickness and a shaped end cap contour (27); ii) bending the cap contour (27); iii) forming a sharp edge (21) along the bent portion (19), wherein a punch (31) for the edge-forming process, comprising a side surface (33, 37) which is stepped so as to correspond substantially to the material thickness and which faces the die (30) and counter die (32), is guided along the side surfaces (52, 35) of the counter die (32) and die (30) such that the step (34) of the punch (31) engages with the marginal edge (56) and displaces the material of the folded portion (19) towards the edge portion (21), thereby forming a sharp edge.
BENDING BEAM FOR A SWIVEL BENDING MACHINE
An elongated bending beam for a swivel bending machine has an approximately C-shaped beam cross section and two bending tools, which are opposite one another relative to a preferably horizontal central plane), and which run facing one another in the longitudinal direction of the bending beam, between which a workpiece portion of a workpiece to be bent can be introduced. An angle-measuring system for contactlessly measuring a bending angle is arranged inside the C-shape beam cross section, with which a bending angle can be measured relative to a reference plane at a workpiece section bent by one of the bending tools. The angle-measuring system also includes a first angle-measuring unit arranged below the central plane and having a first measuring region positioned substantially above the central plane, and a second angle-measuring unit arranged above the central plane and having a second measuring region positioned substantially below the central plane.
BENDING BEAM FOR A SWIVEL BENDING MACHINE
An elongated bending beam for a swivel bending machine has an approximately C-shaped beam cross section and two bending tools, which are opposite one another relative to a preferably horizontal central plane), and which run facing one another in the longitudinal direction of the bending beam, between which a workpiece portion of a workpiece to be bent can be introduced. An angle-measuring system for contactlessly measuring a bending angle is arranged inside the C-shape beam cross section, with which a bending angle can be measured relative to a reference plane at a workpiece section bent by one of the bending tools. The angle-measuring system also includes a first angle-measuring unit arranged below the central plane and having a first measuring region positioned substantially above the central plane, and a second angle-measuring unit arranged above the central plane and having a second measuring region positioned substantially below the central plane.
Tool and method for processing plate-shaped workpieces
A tool and a method for processing plate-shaped workpieces, in particular metal sheets. An upper tool and a lower tool are movable toward one another for processing a workpiece arranged in between. The upper tool has a clamping shank and a main body arranged on a common position axis. A processing tool is arranged on a main body so as to be situated opposite the clamping shank. The lower tool has a main body with a bearing surface for the workpiece and an opening within the bearing surface. The processing tool of the upper tool has at least one bending edge and at least one cutting edge, and the main body of the lower tool has at least one counterpart bending edge and at least one counterpart cutting edge.
PROCESSING MACHINE, WORKPIECE TABLE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING A WORKPIECE
The invention relates to a machine tool (10), in particular a long folding machine, for machining a workpiece (12) made of flat material such as sheet metal, comprising: a workpiece table (14) defining a supporting area (16) on which the workpiece (12) can be placed at least in sections during machining; and at least one machining unit (18) for machining the workpiece (12). The workpiece table (14) comprises at least one table assembly (20) having a base plate (22) and a swivel plate (24), the base plate (22) and the swivel plate (24) each defining a portion of the supporting area (16), wherein the swivel plate (24) is pivotably mounted relative to the base plate (22) in such a way that a swivel movement of the swivel plate (44) can be generated for turning the workpiece (12) over. The invention further relates to a workpiece table and a method for machining a workpiece made of flat material.
