Method and upsetting tool for producing highly dimensionally accurate half shells
The invention relates to a method for producing highly dimensionally accurate, deep-drawn half shells having a bottom region, a jacket and optionally having a flange, wherein a half shell pre-formed from a blank is formed into a finished half shell, wherein the pre-formed half shell has excess blank material on account of its geometrical shape, and the half shell being upset by way of at least one pressing operation in an upsetting tool to form the finished half shell during the forming of the pre-formed half shell into its finished shape on account of the excess blank material. The object of specifying a method and an apparatus, by way of which the process reliability can be increased during the production of a half shell, is achieved by way of the abovementioned method by virtue of the fact that the size of the upset gap is reduced during the closing of the upsetting tool to the actual wall thickness of the jacket of the pre-formed half shell. In addition, the object is achieved by way of an upsetting tool according to the invention by virtue of the fact that two side walls are provided which, together with the bottom region of the die of the second tool half, form a corresponding die, and the side walls can be displaced perpendicularly or obliquely with respect to the movement direction of the die.
Corner piece for rain gutters and method of manufacture
A corner piece for a rainwater gutter system having an angled front wall extending at a 45 degree angle to increase the amount of water able to be collected by the corner piece, with each end of a main section of the front wall having an angled out wing section slidably receiving an end of one of the straight gutter sections. The manufacturing method minimizes scrap by the shape of a blank used to form the corner piece.

System, a computer device and an industrial robot for use in material processing of a two-dimensional sheet like material
The present disclosure generally relates to material processing of a two-dimensional sheet like material into a desired three-dimensional shape object. In more detail, this disclosure presents a system, a computer device and an industrial robot for use in material processing of a two-dimensional sheet like material. The system may comprise one or more computer devices and one or more industrial robots in a distributed computing environment. A two-dimensional sheet like material may be provided to the industrial robot. Also, a digital instruction for the spreading and subsequent folding of the provided two-dimensional sheet by means of the industrial robot may be received from a computer device. The industrial robot may execute a thus received digital instruction to produce, or otherwise create, a desired design of a three-dimensional object from the provided two-dimensional sheet like material.

Battery manufacturing device and manufacturing method of battery
A battery manufacturing device for manufacturing a cylindrical battery by folding a positive electrode tab connected to a top cap includes a jig that makes a pendulum swing and presses a positive electrode tab; an adjusting member that forms a turning radius of the pendulum swing; and a folding knife that presses a folding part of the positive electrode tab. A method of using the battery manufacturing device is also provided.
SNOW GUARD
A snow guard for a standing seam metal roof, which may impede falling or melting snow and ice and may prevent gutters from being overwhelmed by falling or melting snow and ice. Such a snow guard may be fitted to the standing seams of the roof by screws or similar fasteners. The snow guard may prevent leakage through the holes created by the fasteners, may aesthetically blend into the material of the standing seam metal roof system, and may function as a base for scaffold systems. Such a snow guard may also add strength to the panels on which it is disposed. Finally, such a snow guard may also have the benefit of being easy to install.

Roller hemming tool
A roller hemming tool having a main hollow body including a first end for fastening to a robot and a second end having a secondary body which, in turn, includes at least one roller. The tool also includes the following elements which are axially distributed therein: a load cell on the first end; a die in contact with the load cell; a first cylinder in contact with the die; a second cylinder to which the secondary body is fastened; an elastic means in contact with the first cylinder and the second cylinder; and a cap limiting the axial movement of the second cylinder. When in use, the roller continuously exerts pressure in an axial direction, said pressure being successively transmitted to the secondary body, the second cylinder, the elastic means, the first cylinder, the die and up to the load cell.
