Light fixture installation apparatus and methods
A foldable mounting collar includes first and second collar segments. Each collar segment includes a planar annular segment that substantially subtends a semicircle, a collar flange that, when the planar annular segment is horizontal, extends vertically downward along an inner periphery of the planar annular segment, such that the collar flange forms a cylindrical portion, and two hinge flanges that, when the planar annular segment is horizontal, extend upwardly from each end of the semicircle formed by each planar annular segment. The mounting collar further includes pivot means that hingedly couple pairs of the hinge flanges of the collar segments. The second collar segment can rotate, relative to the first collar segment, through at least a polar angle range sufficient for the mounting collar to fit through an aperture having a diameter defined by the cylindrical portions of the collar flanges when both collar segments are horizontal.
DUAL INTERFACE METAL CARDS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING
(i) Smartcards (SC) manufactured from a web of metal inlays (MI; FIGS. 12-14) with the coupling frame (CF) forming the metal card body (MCB) supported by metal struts (struts). In the production of smartcards having a coupling frame (CF) with a slit (S), the slit may form part of graphic elements (FIGS. 10-12). (ii) Printing and coating techniques may be used to camouflage the slit (FIGS. 9A-9D). (iii) Surface currents may be collected from one location in a card body (CB) and transported to another location (FIGS. 15AB). A flexible circuit (FC) may be connected to termination points (TP) across the slit (S), or may couple via a patch antenna (PA) with the slit (S). The flexible circuit may couple, via an antenna structure (AS) with the module antenna (MA) of a transponder chip module (TCM).

Tool and method for processing plate-shaped workpieces, in particular metal sheets
A tool and method for processing plate-shaped workpieces, such as metal sheets. An upper tool and a lower tool are moved toward one another with a workpiece arranged in between. The upper tool carries a processing tool on a main body opposite a clamping shank. The lower tool has a main body and bearing surface for the workpiece with an opening in the bearing surface. The processing tool of the upper tool has a bending edge and the main body of the lower tool has a counterpart bending edge which is positioned in the opening of the bearing surface. The bearing surface being displaceable relative to the counterpart bending edge such that the counterpart bending edge projects from the opening in the bearing surface.

Mounting bracket with support structure
A mounting bracket for supporting an electrical device includes a frame, a leg, and a support tab. The frame includes a rail and is configured to be secured to a structural support. The leg is connected to an edge of the rail and pivotable relative to the rail. The support tab is connected to the leg and configured to be coupled to the structural support.
Electronic device housing, method for manufacturing electronic device housing, development plan-shaped metal resin joint plate, and electronic apparatus
An electronic device housing of the present invention is a housing for internally accommodating an electronic device and is provided with a metal bottom plate, and metal side plates folded and integrally connected to the bottom plate, in which, in a metal member (M) formed of at least the bottom plate and the side plate, a thermoplastic resin member is joined to a portion of the surface of the plate-shaped metal member (M), the metal member (M) is reinforced by a thermoplastic resin member, and the thermoplastic resin member is joined to both surfaces of the plate-shaped metal member (M).
