BENDING DEVICE
Disclosed is a tube bending device which includes at least one bending roller mounted to be rotatably movable relative to a frame and at least one crease erasing member. This device is specific in that it includes a plate designed with: reception surfaces to receive, support and position the crease erasing member which is attached thereto, a unit for fixing to the frame, and guide surfaces pivotably connected for the roller.
BENDER HAVING A SENSOR CONFIGURED TO SENSE A WORKPIECE
A bender includes a rotatable bending shoe having at least one channel therein configured to receive a workpiece, a seat proximate to the bending shoe which is configured to receive the workpiece thereon, and a sensor provided on the seat which is configured to sense the presence of the workpiece. In some embodiments, the sensor is configured to sense an end of the workpiece.

Follower bar assembly for a bender
A bender includes a rotatable bending shoe having a plurality of channels therein configured to receive a workpiece and a follower assembly. The follower assembly includes a mount, a follower bar attached to the mount, the follower bar having a plurality of channels therein configured to receive the workpiece, a roller attached to the mount and engaged against the follower bar, the roller having an eccentric shaft extending therefrom, and a motor for rotating the shaft and roller, wherein rotation of the shaft and roller causes the follower bar to translate toward or away from the bending shoe. A drive member can be provided to move the mount toward or away from the bending shoe.

Pipe bend die unit
A clamp member and a counter pressure member are hingedly connected together about a rotary axis, and a fitting portion of a fitting protrusion that is positioned in a fitting recess is located at a foreside in an advancing direction of the pipe relative to a position where a bending operation of the pipe is initiated, and a mating portion at which a first groove part of the clamp member and a second groove part of a counter pressure member mate is located at a backside in the advancing direction of the pipe relative to the position where the bending operation of the pipe is initiated. The counter pressure member comprises a first member supported rotatably about the rotary axis, a second member detachably connected to the first member, and a third member detachably connected to the second member, which are connected together by a common connecting member (e.g., bolt).

Systems and Methods for Performing Spine Surgery
A digitizer pointer is provided as part of a system for correcting a curvature or deformity in a patient's spine based on the digitized locations of implanted screws and tracking the placement of the rod as it is placed in a minimally invasive fashion. The digitizer pointer is includes an offset adjustment feature, a swivel feature, and a translation feature.
Method for manufacturing a bent member
A bending apparatus has (a) a first manipulator which feeds a hollow metal blank of closed cross section in its lengthwise direction, (b) a second manipulator which supports a first support means disposed at a first position and a metal blank while feeding it, a heating means disposed at a second position downstream of the first position in the blank feed direction for heating all or part of the circumference of the blank, and a cooling means disposed at a third position downstream of the second position for cooling a portion of the heated blank, and (c) a third manipulator which constitutes a second support means disposed at a fourth position downstream of the third position in the feed direction of the blank and which moves two-dimensionally or three-dimensionally while supporting at least one location of the metal blank to bend the metal blank into a desired shape.
