Production facility for pipe components
One box body is attached to an undercarriage of a trailer, and provided with a brazing area, a gastight testing area, and a finishing area aligned with one another in this order along a first side wall of the box body the brazing area, a plurality of members are bonded together by brazing to produce a half-finished product. In the gastight testing area, gas-tightness of the half-finished product is tested. In the finishing area, the half-finished product is covered with a thermal insulator to completely produce a pipe component. As a result, it becomes possible to properly dispose a working area, where the pipe component is produced, in the interior space of one box body without losing workability.
Exhaust system repair apparatus and repair method
The present disclosure pertains to a tool and repair method that facilitates restoring an exhaust pipe that has been become deformed as the result of a rear end collision which both restores to the pipes original shape and re-aligns the pipes to their original configuration, so the exhaust pipes can be re-attached to the pipe hanger without the need to replace the exhaust system pipes. The tool is comprised of a hydraulic piston cylinder, a stationary rectangular steel head attached to the body of the hydraulic piston, and a movable flat plate, located inside of the rectangular steel head and connected to the piston shaft of the hydraulic piston cylinder. To use the tool the deformed section of pipe is placed within the head of steel head of the compressive pipe repair apparatus when the cylinder piston shaft and movable flat plate are retracted. The hydraulic piston cylinder is activated by the mechanic and the cylinder piston shaft and movable flat plate will extend upward and contact the bottom of the deformed section is exhaust pipe, exerting compressive stresses against the exhaust pipe until the pipe has been reformed to match the original shape.

POWERED BENDER
An assembly for bending a conduit and a portable conduit bender. The assembly may generally include a portable bender including a base having a base surface supportable on a work surface, a housing supported by the base and defining a housing axis, the housing including a handle engageable by an operator to carry the bender, and a shoe supported by the housing for pivoting movement about the housing axis, the shoe defining a channel for supporting a conduit to be bent; and a pipe threader removably supported by the housing, the threader being operable to pivotably drive the shoe relative to the housing to bend the conduit.

Tubing bender
A compact, lightweight, portable tubing bender configured to enable one-handed operation. The tubing bender includes a portable housing including a handle portion, a bender shoe operably coupled to the portable housing, the bender shoe defining an arcuate channel configured to restrain a length of tubing along a prescribed arc during bending operations, a guide gear fixedly coupled to the bender shoe, and a guide frame pivotably coupled to the bender shoe, the guide frame including a motor, a driven gear and a guide member, the motor configured to drive the driven gear along the guide gear to pivot the guide frame relative to the bender shoe, so as to move the guide member during bending operations to guide the length of tubing along the arcuate channel of the bender shoe.

Tube bending apparatus and method
A bending wheel of a tube bending apparatus includes a tube-accepting recess, proximal and distal wheel faces, and a rotation recess. The proximal wheel face includes a lever pivot anchor. A cam insert includes a shaft having a tool driving feature. The shaft is configured for selective insertion into the rotation recess. The cam insert includes a camming flange, which includes a lever urging feature. A keeper lever includes a keeper finger rigidly connected to a laterally extending lever arm and extending longitudinally from the proximal wheel face. An anchor end of the lever arm includes an arm pivot feature and a spaced-apart cam following feature configured to interact with the lever urging feature. Rotation of the cam insert causes rotation of the lever urging feature to drive the cam following feature of the keeper lever and pivot the lever arm in the same rotational direction.
