Medical bending system

A medical bending system for bending an object to be bent, in particular a rod, includes at least one object to be bent, a bending apparatus with which the object to be bent is bendable, and a navigation device having a detection unit and a data processing unit. The object to be bent and the bending apparatus include markings that are optically detectable by the detection unit and are arranged or formed on respective surfaces of the object to be bent and the bending apparatus. The data processing unit determines at least one bending parameter during the bending operation based on information from the detection unit relating to the detected markings.

A tube bending system for bending a processing target tube that includes a metal tube and two flare nuts into a specific shape, with the tube bending system including a bending machine and a tube delivery unit. The tube delivery unit includes a shift-to-end mechanism that performs a shift-to-end manipulation on the processing target tube to move the two flare nuts to the end portion sides of the processing target tube such that one of the two flare nuts abuts one of the two ring-shaped projections and the other of the two flare nuts abuts the other of the two ring-shaped projections, and an inspection mechanism that utilizes the shift-to-end manipulation to detect an abnormality of the processing target tube that is to be bent in the bending machine.

MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR BENT MEMBER AND HOT-BENDING APPARATUS FOR STEEL MATERIAL

A manufacturing method for a bent member of the present invention includes a holding step of holding one end portion of a long steel material having an opening end in a longitudinal direction by a chuck, a feeding step of feeding the steel material in the longitudinal direction with the one end portion as a head after the holding step, a heating step of performing high-frequency induction heating on a portion of the steel material in the longitudinal direction to form a heated portion, a bending step of moving the chuck in a three-dimensional direction to apply a bending moment to the heated portion, and a cooling step of injecting a cooling medium to the heated portion to cool the heated portion after the bending step. When the heating step is started, the chuck is cooled by the cooling medium in a state where a heating amount applied to the one end portion when the heated portion is formed on the one end portion is greater than that of an upstream side adjacent portion adjacent to the upstream side of the one end portion as seen along a feeding direction of the steel material.

Devices, systems and methods are disclosed which relate to a wire bending apparatus capable of both on and off-plane nose and mandrel bends. Exemplary embodiments of the present invention incorporate a center turret cluster with a plurality of radii possible, a nose-bending mandrel, and a mandrel-bending mandrel. This apparatus forms a bending head that is attached to a CNC wire bending machine. This combination allows increased flexibility in forming complex wire forms and cuts down secondary operations, such as operations from robot arms, sometimes associated with CNC wire bending. In addition, the turret cluster position in the center allows for bending support with mandrel bends or nose bending on the back side of the bending head, usually 180 degrees away from the normal bending area. This allows the manufacturing of double end-loop forms without the addition of external clamps or robotic manipulation.

ROLL-BENDING PROCESSING METHOD AND PROCESSING DEVICE

A method for deriving the position of a pushing roll, applied even when there is a difference between the actual processed shape and a theoretical solution (a numerical analysis solution) due to changes in a state of a processing machine or the bending characteristic of the material to be processed. The rolls have a pyramid-like shape, and the operation amount of a pushing roll is changed while continuously feeding a material, thereby bending the material. Also, for each position of the fixed pushing roll, the radius of curvature of the material is measured and the bending characteristic is grasped in advance. From the design shape, the radius of curvature and the operation amount for bringing the pushing roll into contact are obtained. The operation amount of the pushing roll is then determined.
