A heat treatment apparatus of one aspect of the present disclosure includes: a feed device that feeds a heat treatment workpiece downstream in a feed direction along a heat treatment workpiece pass-line; a heating device that includes a heating coil disposed downstream of the feed device in the feed direction and encircling the pass-line; a cooling device that is disposed adjacent to the heating coil, downstream of the heating coil in the feed direction, and encircling the pass-line; and a gas supply device that is disposed upstream of the heating coil in the feed direction, directly connected to the heating coil and encircling the pass-line, and that includes a plurality of gas compartments configured by internally partitioning the gas supply device in the feed direction.

A bending process is controlled for bending a bending body, such as a bending profile. A bending device has a bending unit provided with at least one bending element that executes a defined movement based on a control signal. A data processing process is carried out in which a target geometry of the bent bending body is described in the form of target bending information by comparing at least two coordinate systems. A bending process is carried out, wherein before and/or during the bending process, the control signal controlling the at least one bending element is used on the basis of the target bending information to bend the bending body using the at least one bending element.

Method of applying lubrication to legs of a hairpin tube

A method and system for manufacturing a hairpin tube. The method includes cutting a coil of tube to provide a plurality of lengths of tubes, and bending each length of tube to form a plurality of hairpin tubes. A lubricant is then atomized with an injector nozzle, and injected into at least one open end of each hairpin tube. After lubricating the hairpin tubes, the legs of each hairpin tube are expanded.

Embodiments also includes a clamping system comprising the clamping apparatus, as well as a positioning device for driving the center gear based on a positioning input and a clamping device for driving the outer gears based on a clamping input.

A magnet is integrated into the sleeve for retaining the sleeve at a particular angle of rotating on the pipe.
