Tubing bender
A compact, lightweight, portable tubing bender configured to enable one-handed operation. The tubing bender includes a portable housing including a handle portion, a bender shoe operably coupled to the portable housing, the bender shoe defining an arcuate channel configured to restrain a length of tubing along a prescribed arc during bending operations, a guide gear fixedly coupled to the bender shoe, and a guide frame pivotably coupled to the bender shoe, the guide frame including a motor, a driven gear and a guide member, the motor configured to drive the driven gear along the guide gear to pivot the guide frame relative to the bender shoe, so as to move the guide member during bending operations to guide the length of tubing along the arcuate channel of the bender shoe.
BENDING DEVICE
Disclosed is a tube bending device which includes at least one bending roller mounted to be rotatably movable relative to a frame and at least one crease erasing member. This device is specific in that it includes a plate designed with: reception surfaces to receive, support and position the crease erasing member which is attached thereto, a unit for fixing to the frame, and guide surfaces pivotably connected for the roller.

Method of bending a conduit
A method of bending a conduit is disclosed. An engagement member is displaced via contact with the conduit and engages a switch. A signal is sent to a microprocessor indicative of a characteristic of the conduit to be bent, in response to engagement of the switch. The microprocessor provides a motor control signal to the motor to control a rotation of the shoe, wherein rotation of the shoe bends the conduit.

A method of producing a bent part from insulated flat material having a flat electrically conducting carrier material sheathed by an electrically insulating insulation layer includes feeding the insulated flat material from a material supply to a bending machine; in the bending machine, forming a two-dimensionally or three-dimensionally bent part bent from insulated flat material; severing the bent part in a cutting operation from the fed insulated flat material; and removing part of the insulation layer in an insulation-stripping operation from the electrically conducting carrier material in at least one portion of the insulated flat material, wherein the insulation-stripping operation on the flat material guided in the bending machine by an insulation-stripping installation that is integrated in the bending machine is carried out by a continuous method on the flat material running through the insulation-stripping installation prior to severing the bent part from the fed flat material.

Warm forming process and apparatus for transverse bending of an extruded aluminum beam to warm form a vehicle structural component
A method for warm forming an aluminum beam, such as an aluminum component for a vehicle, includes providing an extruded aluminum beam with a hollow cross-sectional shape. A portion of a forming die is heated to a desired temperature, so as to heat a portion of the aluminum beam in the die to a temperature below the artificial aging temperature of the aluminum beam. The heated aluminum beam is deformed to a desired shape with the die in a direction transverse to a length of the aluminum beam.
Warm forming process and apparatus for transverse bending of an extruded aluminum beam to warm form a vehicle structural component
A method for warm forming an aluminum beam, such as an aluminum component for a vehicle, includes providing an extruded aluminum beam with a hollow cross-sectional shape. A portion of a forming die is heated to a desired temperature, so as to heat a portion of the aluminum beam in the die to a temperature below the artificial aging temperature of the aluminum beam. The heated aluminum beam is deformed to a desired shape with the die in a direction transverse to a length of the aluminum beam.
ASSEMBLY OF BENDING MACHINE AND SUPPORT BENCH
An assembly of a machine for bending an elongated piece (T) and relevant support bench is described. The elongated piece (T) is supported by a spindle (3) that comprises a sleeve member (4) suitable to be connected to the elongated piece (T) to be bent, and a spindle frame (5) which rotatably supports the sleeve member (4). The spindle frame (5) is mounted on a platform (6) provided at its bottom with at least a spherical support (7) so that the spindle (3) is able to slide freely on a support bench (2), while the elongated piece (T) is bent.
