Upholstered furniture component connection system
An upholstered component, such as panels, assembled onto a furniture frame or a chair mechanism by way of a connection system provides a robust connection and economical manufacturing process. The connection includes a T-nut and a spacer attached on opposite sides of a wood form to be upholstered. The threaded barrel of the T-nut inserted in a hole through the wood form and with T-nut prongs embedding into a surface of the side of the wood form that will be facing outwardly on the furniture. The spacer is inserted into the hole at the opposite side of the wood form and is retained therein by an interference fit. The wood form is upholstered and is then attached to the furniture frame or mechanism with a bolt connecting to the furniture frame or mechanism and then extending through the spacer, into the hole and into the threaded barrel of the T-nut.
POSTURE SEAT
Systems, devices and methods including a foundation member comprising: a front Portion configured to receive a user's upper legs, where the front portion comprises a first protrusion and a second protrusion; a pommel configured to guide the user to a proper location on the foundation member, where the pommel is proximate the front portion and between the first protrusion and the second protrusion; and a rear portion configured to receive a user's lower pelvic area, the rear portion comprising a central portion and an upwardly inclined lateral portion, where the lateral portion and the front portion collectively surround the central portion.
RECLINER SUPPORT SYSTEM
A recliner support system (RSS) configured to provide support for individuals having poor posture control. The RSS may include a base assembly configured to move with reclinable furniture between upright and reclined positions. The RSS may include one or more straps configured to secure the base assembly to the reclinable furniture. The RSS may include one or more harnesses attached to the base assembly and configured to maintain a stable and well-aligned body position. The RSS may include one or more supports attached to the base assembly and configured to provide body support. The RSS may include a seat cushion including a bottom portion, a rear portion, and a flexible hinge portion connecting the bottom and rear portion and configured to move with and support a body in an upright sitting position, in a reclined position, and while moving between the upright sitting position and the reclined position.
Surgical robotic system having anthropometry-based user console
Surgical robotic systems including a user console for controlling a robotic arm or a surgical robotic tool are described. The user console includes components designed to automatically adapt to anthropometric characteristics of a user. A processor of the surgical robotic system is configured to receive anthropometric inputs corresponding to the anthropometric characteristics and to generate an initial console configuration of the user console based on the inputs using a machine learning model. Actuators automatically adjust a seat, a display, or one or more pedals of the user console to the initial console configuration. The initial console configuration establishes a comfortable relative position between the user and the console components. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Electric sofa power supply system
An electric sofa power supply system includes a power supply unit, a USB female connector having a trigger signal. When the trigger signal pin of the USB female connector is electrically connected with a mating USB male connector of an external electric device, the control unit controls the power supply unit to provide power to the USB female connector. When the USB female connector is electrically disconnected from the mating USB male connector of the external electric device, the control unit cuts off the power supply of the power supply unit to the USB female connector, achieving zero power consumption, energy saving and environmental protection, and enhancing the safety of using the power supply system. The electric sofa power supply system does not need to add a switch to the electric sofa to control the power supply of the USB female connector, which greatly increases the aesthetics and practicability.

SEAT ASSEMBLY
A method is provided for enhancing comfort of a seat with a hip/thigh support and a back support. The method includes providing a seating pad assembly with a foam cushion made at least partly of a viscoelastic foam and having a cover formed from a dimensionally stable non-stretch material. An upper area of the seating pad assembly is attached to an upper area of the seat back. Pelvic and upper back areas of a person sitting on the seat deform the viscoelastic foam sufficiently to provide a comfortable support and to define anchors for the seating pad assembly. The non-stretch cover extends between those anchors for effectively supporting and cradling the lumbar back area of the person in the seat above and forward of the corner between the seat back and the hip/thigh support.
