Shaping tool for a workpiece, and device for deforming a workpiece using such a tool
A shaping tool for shaping a portion of a workpiece. The shaping tool includes a clamping assembly with a clamping device having multiple clamping segments and a compressing head having a depression on one end for forming a portion of the workpiece. The compression head including an attachment feature on the opposing side for connecting to a shaping piston of a shaping assembly. The compression head and the clamping device being structurally connected in a circumferential manner as a single tool unit and are arranged on a common longitudinal axis together with the shaping assembly, which is actuated by fluid pressure and together with the clamping assembly.
Stamping groove for target wheel
A method of forming a target wheel for a camshaft phaser assembly is disclosed. The method includes providing a sheet metal body, and stamping the sheet metal body to form a sensor tab. The sensor tab includes a medial flange positioned between first and second axially extending edges. The sensor tab includes: at least one inner corner defined between the medial flange and at least one of the first axially extending edge or the second axially extending edge, and at least one outer corner defined between the medial flange and at least one of the first axially extending edge or the second axially extending edge. The method includes forming a groove in the at least one inner corner.
Pipe connection device and manufacturing method thereof
A pipe connection device according to the present invention includes: a connection member including a projection in which an insertion space is formed in the projection and a pipe is inserted through one side and which is bent in a circumferential direction at the other side and a separation preventing unit which is spaced apart from the projection and protrudes in the circumferential direction; and a flange member coupled to the circumference of the connection member between the projection and the separation preventing unit so as to contact the projection and having a joining hole penetrated by a joining member.

STAMPED COMPONENT WITH IMPROVED FORMABILITY
A method of shaping a component having a stamped component contour includes forming a first stage of the component contour in a work-piece blank, such that the first stage of the contour is bordered by an outer region of material of the work-piece blank. The method additionally includes forming a stake bead in the outer region of material following the forming of the first stage of the contour, wherein the stake bead has an asymmetrical shape when viewed in a cross-sectional plane. The method furthermore includes forming a second stage of the component contour in the work-piece blank, wherein the stake bead's asymmetrical shape is configured to limit flow of work-piece blank material into the second stage of the contour from the outer region of material to thereby limit an amount of springback and a resultant twist and/or curl of the stamped component contour.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING AT LEAST ONE COMPONENT ELEMENT FOR A FURNITURE FITTING
A method for producing a component element for a furniture fitting, in particular a rail, includes the following steps to be carried out in chronological order: providing a planar sheet having a longitudinal extension, two top surfaces and two side surfaces spaced apart by a width of the sheet, as a semifinished product of the component element. The sheet has a wall thickness in the range of 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm, and is formed, preferably by an embossing stamp and/or an embossing roller, on at least one top surface with an indentation. The indentation is arranged transversely, preferably substantially orthogonally, to the longitudinal extension. The sheet is bent such that, in a cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal extension, a profile of the component element arises, and the bent sheet is mechanically separated in the region of the indentation.
