STAMPING APPARATUS AND STAMPING METHOD
A stamping apparatus includes a die, a punch, a back-pressure device, a lift-up mechanism, and a delay device. A workpiece is mounted on the die. The punch is arranged to approach and recede from the die and configured to punch out a product from the workpiece. The back-pressure device includes a pushing member disposed in the die and urges the pushing member toward the punch to apply back pressure to the workpiece. The lift-up mechanism is configured to lift the workpiece above the die when the punch recedes from the die. The delay device is configured to delay lifting movement of the pushing member in relation to receding movement of the punch when the punch recedes from the die.
FORGING AND INCLINED WINDOW HOLE PUNCHING COMPOSITE DIE
A forging and inclined window hole punching composite die includes an upper die holder, a connection sleeve, an upper die sliding sleeve, a pressure plate, inclined window puncher pins, a center puncher pin, first connection screw rods, first springs, second connection screw rods, second springs, hydraulic assistant systems, a lower die and a bottom plate. Bottom surface of the pressure plate of the composite die is a plane to avoid deformation of a front molding surface. Hydraulic power is added to the inclined window puncher pins to increase the pressure for punching inclined holes, avoid quality problems and increase a demolding force. A multi-split synchronous hydraulic device may well realize synchronization of the plurality of inclined window puncher pins.
Spring deflection control assembly
A spring assembly is provided which decreases the fatigue and wear on the springs of the assembly. The spring assembly includes upper and lower pistons separated by a substantially incompressible fluid. The lower piston is attached to one or more springs. The surface area of the upper surface of the lower piston is greater than the surface area of the lower surface of the upper piston. As such, the springs are deflected by a distance less than the distance traveled by the upper piston. By decreasing the length the springs are compressed, the springs are subject to less fatigue and wear. As a result, the life span of the springs is increased and the maintenance required of the spring assembly is minimized relative to that of typical spring assemblies.
Automatic cleaner and pressing device
An automatic cleaner for a pressing device has a pressing unit that can reciprocate between a pressing position and an apart position. The automatic cleaner includes a separating structure configured to separate a workpiece from the pressing unit; a cleaning member; and a drive mechanism configured to move the separating structure and the cleaning member back and forth, in accordance with movement of the pressing unit. The drive mechanism is configured to make the separating structure drop the workpiece, after being worked, from the pressing unit, and to make the cleaning member clean the pressing unit, in accordance with the movement of the pressing unit.
FINE BLANKING PRESS AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
The disclosure pertains to a fine blanking press comprising a first press unit comprising a first press drive for driving the first press unit in a first driving movement during a fine blanking process step, and a second press unit wherein the second press unit is driven in a second driving movement at least partially during the first driving movement of the first press unit, and wherein a force control unit exerts a counter force against a force exerted by the first press unit during its first driving movement, and wherein the force control unit comprises at least one sensor and a controller operative to receive measuring data collected by the at least one sensor, and wherein the controller is configured to carry out a closed loop control on basis of the received measuring data. The disclosure further pertains to a method for operating a fine blanking press.
QUICK CONNECT PIVOT JOINTS
A quick connect assembly includes a first leg, a second leg, a pivot pin, and a pivot arm. The first and second legs defined a gap therebetween. The first leg defines a pin hole and the second leg defines a key hole and a keyway. The pin hole and the key hole are coaxially aligned with one another and the keyway is in communication with the key hole. The pivot arm includes a pivot head sized and dimensioned to pass through the key hole and a neck sized and dimensioned to pass through the keyway as the pivot head passes through the key hole. The pivot arm is pivotal about the pivot pin within the gap between an unlocked position in which the neck is aligned with the keyway and a locked position in which the neck is misaligned with the keyway.
PRESS DEVICE
A press device includes a press device main body and a main breaker to supply or stop power from an external power supply to the press device main body. The press device main body includes a slide, a bolster disposed below the slide, a servomotor configured to drive the slide, a power storage unit able to supply stored power to the servomotor, a discharge unit configured to discharge a charge stored in the power storage unit, and a first contactor. An upper die can be mounted on the slide. A lower die can be disposed on the bolster. The first contactor interrupts an electrical connection between the power storage unit and the discharge unit in an energized state and electrically connects the power storage unit and the discharge unit in a non-energized state. The first contactor is supplied with power for energization from the external power source without passing through the main breaker.
Automated spacer frame fabrication and method
Method and Apparatus for fabricating a spacer frame for use in an insulating glass unit. One of a multiple number of possible spacer frame materials is chosen for the spacer frame. An elongated strip of the material is moved to a notching station where notches are formed at corner locations. The character of the notches is adjusted based on the selection of the metal strip material and more particularly to achieve bending of the material in an repeatable, straightforward manner. Downstream from the notching station the metal strip is bent into a channel shaped elongated frame member having side walls. Further downstream a leading strip of channel shaped material is severed or separated from succeeding material still passing through the notching and bending station.
DYNAMIC BALANCE DEVICE FOR PRESS MACHINE
A dynamic balance device for a press machine includes a plurality of cam portions which transmit a vertical motion of a slide to a balance weight to move the balance weight in a reverse direction of the vertical motion of the slide. The cam portions are each movable in a direction substantially orthogonal to a moving direction of the slide, and each include a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface. The first inclined surface has an inclination angle corresponding to an inclination angle of an inclined surface formed on a member which is provided integrally with the slide and vertically moves with the slide. The second inclined surface has an inclination angle corresponding to an inclination angle of an inclined surface formed on the balance weight.
