GUTTER COVER, GUTTER ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SAME, AND METHOD FOR INSTALLATION THEREOF
A gutter cover is engageable in a rain gutter channel to close a top opening of a rain gutter. The gutter cover includes a sheet of rigid and resilient material, the sheet having a pre-formed curved profile along a widthwise axis thereof, two opposing longitudinal edges, and a plurality of throughholes formed therein, the sheet being substantially flexible to modify its pre-formed curved profile for insertion into the rain gutter channel. A gutter assembly includes the gutter cover inserted in a gutter and in a method, the gutter cover engages with a gutter.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PISTON OF PUMP FOR BRAKE SYSTEM AND PUMP FOR BRAKE SYSTEM INCLUDING THE PISTON
According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, it provides a method of manufacturing a piston of a pump for brake system, the piston fabricated using a piercing process by press forming to have an inlet path communicating with a suction port through which oil is introduced.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CRANKSHAFT HAVING WEIGHT-REDUCING FORGED HOLES
A method of manufacturing a crankshaft having weight-reducing forged holes can achieve lightening and precise forming by additionally including a punching process of using an individual hydraulic press. The method includes steps of: heating a steel bar, performing busting such that the heated steel bar is disposed in a cavity of a mold to be produced as a first intermediate shape of a crankshaft, performing brokering such that the first intermediate shape is produced as a second intermediate shape, performing finishing such that the second intermediate shape is produced as a third intermediate shape, performing trimming such that the third intermediate shape is produced as a complete shape of the crankshaft by cutting portions other than the shape of the crankshaft, and performing punching such that holes are formed in the complete shape of the crankshaft.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATED STEEL SHEET, APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATED STEEL SHEET, AND CURABLE COMPOSITION USED FOR THE SAME
A method is for manufacturing a laminated steel sheet comprising laminated a predetermined number of thin steel sheets formed by punching a belt-shaped thin steel sheet into a predetermined shape. This method includes the following steps 1 to 3: step 1: a step of sequentially punching the thin steel sheet into a predetermined shape with a metallic die; step 2: a step of applying a curable composition to a predetermined portion of the thin steel sheet; and step 3: a step of irradiating the curable composition with energy rays. The curable composition is a delayed curable composition which is cured after a lapse of a predetermined time after being irradiated with energy rays.
METHODS AND ARTICLES RELATING TO IONIC LIQUID BATH PLATING OF ALUMINUM-CONTAINING LAYERS UTILIZING SHAPED CONSUMABLE ALUMINUM ANODES
Ionic liquid bath plating methods for depositing aluminum-containing layers utilizing shaped consumable aluminum anodes are provided, as are turbomachine components having three dimensionally-tailored, aluminum-containing coatings produced from such aluminum-containing layers. In one embodiment, the ionic liquid bath plating method includes the step or process of obtaining a consumable aluminum anode including a workpiece-facing anode surface substantially conforming with the geometry of the non-planar workpiece surface. The workpiece-facing anode surface and the non-planar workpiece surface are positioned in an adjacent, non-contacting relationship, while the workpiece and the consumable aluminum anode are submerged in an ionic liquid aluminum plating bath. An electrical potential is then applied across the consumable aluminum anode and the workpiece to deposit an aluminum-containing layer onto the non-planar workpiece surface. In certain implementations, additional steps are then performed to convert or incorporate the aluminum-containing layer into a high temperature aluminum-containing coating, such as an aluminide coating.
Hole punching pliers and method of using same
Disclosed are pliers and related methods for punching a hole in a non-flat material without distorting the material. Such pliers may comprise a first member having a first handle and a first jaw, and a second member having a second handle and a second jaw. The first and second members are attached at a connection point to permit pivoting in response to a squeezing force on the handles. The first jaw comprises a punch tip to be received by the second jaw, where the punch tip may have an angled distal end truncating a cross-section of the punch tip. The second jaw comprises a shaped edge facing the punch tip and extending along a length of the second jaw, the shaped edge having substantially the same shape as the non-flat material and comprising an opening having substantially the same shape as the cross-section of the punch tip and to receive the tip therein.
