POLYGON PRISM TORSION BAR
20210317889 · 2021-10-14 ·

A torsion bar is provided that is easy, quick, and cost effective to manufacture. The torsion bar may extend along an axis and have a first end and a second end that is spaced from the first end. The torsion bar may have an active section positioned between the first and second ends. The active section may also have a length defined along the axis. A cross-section transverse to the axis may define a contour of the torsion bar where the contour may be uniform along the length of the active section. The contour may define at least one of a polygon and a polygon-like shape.

A punching apparatus includes a beating element that is arranged for interacting with at least one punching tool and is movable inside a container along and around a work axis, a first rotating actuator coupled to the beating element to move it linearly along the work axis between internal and external operating positions and drive the punching tool, and a second rotating actuator connected to the beating element and arranged for rotating it around the work axis, in particular for angularly orienting the punching tool. The second rotating actuator comprises a second electric motor having a stator fixed to the container and a rotor that is internal to the stator and connected to the beating element to rotate it. The rotor extends along the work axis to face, and be engaged with, the stator between the operating positions.

TORQUE CONVERTER WITH EXPANDED RADIUS COVER AND METHOD THEREOF

A torque converter, including: an impeller supported for rotation around an axis of rotation and including an impeller shell and at least one impeller blade non-rotatably connected to the impeller shell; a cover arranged to receive a rotational torque and including a distal portion including an interior surface in contact with the impeller shell, and an expanded radius portion extending from the distal portion in an axial direction and including an interior surface facing at least partly in a radially inner direction pointing toward the axis of rotation; and a turbine in fluid communication with the impeller and including a turbine shell and at least one turbine blade non-rotatably connected to the turbine shell. The interior surface of the expanded radius portion is located further in a radially outer direction than the interior surface of the distal portion.

Method of manufacturing a perforated sheet, perforated sheet, shaped part and processing device
11839911 · 2023-12-12 · ·

A method of manufacturing a perforated sheet which has at least one hole. The method includes introducing at least two spaced boreholes into a sheet, the at least two spaced boreholes being formed so that they each pass through a thickness of the sheet, introducing a continuous cut between the at least two spaced boreholes in the sheet, and bending open a section of the sheet which is adjacent to the continuous cut so as to form a hole.

METHOD FOR MAKING PROFILE WITH MICRO-HOLE
20210187582 · 2021-06-24 ·

A method for making a profile with a micro-hole, in particular using a continuous composite extrusion process, comprises embedding, in a position in a matrix of the profile to be formed where a micro-hole is to be formed, a continuous wire having a shape and size consistent with that of the micro-hole; sawing a composite profile with the wire obtained by extrusion to a desired length; and removing the wire from the sawed composite profile using a predetermined physical or chemical method without changing the matrix of the composite profile so that the micro-hole of the predetermined size and shape is formed in the predetermined position in the profile. This method is simple, does not require any large, expensive, and sophisticated equipment, can produce continuous micro-holes of different specifications, and can be used in a wide variety of applications.

The system includes a cell framework for defining a manufacturing area. The system includes at least one workplace within the manufacturing area. The system includes at least one manufacturing component within the manufacturing area and configured to be movable along three axes in relation to the at least one workplace. The system includes a conveying mechanism configured to move a part into the at least one workplace to be worked on by the at least one manufacturing component.

Method for making a blind hole
11020871 · 2021-06-01 · ·

A method for making a blind hole may include arranging a workpiece in a negative form with a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may include a recess. The second portion may include a guide for a punch. The recess may be arranged substantially coaxially to the guide. The method may also include displacing a material of the workpiece into the recess via pressing the punch into the workpiece. Additionally, the method may include pressing the punch into the workpiece in a first movement section with a first velocity. The method may further include further pressing the punch into the workpiece in a second movement section with a second velocity such that the material is sheared and is partly extruded into the recess. The method may include moving the first portion relative to the second portion and shearing off the material displaced within the recess.
