DEVICE AND METHOD FOR HOLDING A METAL SHEET ON A RIM OF A MOLD TOOL AND SYSTEM
A device for holding a metal sheet on a rim of a mold tool, the rim surrounding a female mold in the mold tool. The device comprises: a flexible conduit comprising a fluid; a pressure applicator configured to provide a pressure to the fluid in the flexible conduit; a contact surface configured to contact the metal sheet opposite to the rim. The flexible conduit is configured to transmit the pressure in the fluid to the contact surface such that the contact surface provides a holding force to the metal sheet on the rim of the mold tool, wherein the holding force is equal on each position of the contact surface.
Strip holding device for the die of a stamping system
A metal strip holding device configured to be connected to the die of a stamping system is presented herein. The strip holding device includes a magnetic component and a non-magnetic bracket. The magnetic component has at least one pole shoe. The bracket is configured to be connected to the die. Moreover, the magnetic component is installed into a cavity in the metal bracket.
BURRING PROCESSING METHOD, BURRING PROCESSING MOLD, BURRING PROCESSING DEVICE, AND BURRING PROCESSED PRODUCT
Provided is a burring processing method, which is a method for forming a buffing processed portion including a raised portion and a curved portion in a metal component having a pilot hole formed therein, the method being characterized by including: a preforming step of enlarging a diameter of the pilot hole, moving an edge portion of the pilot hole relative to the metal component in a first direction of a thickness direction of the metal component in a first range around the pilot hole of the metal component, and forming the whole first range into a preformed portion raised from the metal component in the first direction; and a main forming step of deforming the preformed portion in a second direction opposite to the first direction, forming a second range on an outer diameter side of the preformed portion to have the same height as the first range in the first direction, and forming part of a third range on an inner diameter side of the preformed portion from the second range to be part of the curved portion and the raised portion.

Method for manufacturing press-formed article, press-formed article, and press-forming apparatus
A method for manufacturing a press-formed article (100) includes a first step for forming a base sheet portion, a first rising portion, and a first strip portion from a sheet-shaped workpiece having a first edge portion and a second edge portion; and a second step for forming a second rising portion by causing a strip-shaped first zone including the second edge portion to be disposed between a first upper die and a first lower die from both sides, causing a second zone adjacent to the first zone to be disposed between a second upper die and a second lower die from both sides, and moving the first upper die and the first lower die relative to the second upper die and the second lower die, wherein, in the second step, a part of the second rising portion which is connected to a vertical ridge line (108) is shear-deformed.

PRESS SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD OF PRESS SYSTEM
A press system and a control method of the press system that can automatically set a timing for coordinating a press machine and a feeding device. A leveler feeder includes feed rolls that convey a coil material to the press machine in a closed state in which the coil material is clamped, and are brought into an open state in which the coil material is released when stamping by the press machine is started. The press machine includes a sensor for detecting a load F at a time of the stamping, a pilot pin that is inserted into a hole pierced in the coil material for positioning at a time of the stamping, and a controller for controlling the leveler feeder and the press machine so as to perform the stamping in coordination with each other. The controller determines a release start timing Tos (a position Ps+L) at which the feed rolls are switched from the closed state to the open state based on a result of detecting by the sensor as well as a length L of the pilot pin.
Oil dispensing spray nozzle
An electrostatic oiling system for use with single blanks in batch systems having an open spray chamber without the need for a negative vacuum chamber. Further, the provided electrostatic oiling system may utilize induction beams and a charge wall that allows for utilization of a smaller vacuum system. Further, the provided electrostatic oiling system may provide variable blank coverage without the need for metered pumps.

Stock lifter assembly
A stock lifter for metal forming dies includes a self-contained assembly. The assembly includes a guide pin that reciprocates within a base. A hardened end cap, which contacts the stock, is attached to the guide pin. A spring is located on the exterior surface of a portion of the base and surrounds the guide pin body. One end of the spring contacts a surface on the cap, while the other end of the spring contacts a surface on the base or an optional mounting flange that is attached above the base. Thus, the stock lifter assembly has a hardened cap for the stock to slide on and a larger, externally mounted spring that provides longer life for the stock lifter. The stock lifter assembly can be made of several different lengths and sizes by using longer or wider guide pins and springs.
